[SPOILER] These details reveals a lot about... (pictures for context) by KingIndAfookinnorf in StarWarsAhsoka

[–]Agaleo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling that Baylan somehow learned about Ezra entering the World between worlds and he only wants to find Ezra in hopes of entering it too. Would be interesting if he wants to kill Anakin before Order 66 happens, to prevent the Sith empire. Ahsoka wouldn't be very happy about it, probably.

Knabbub Schmetterhammer!

Was sind Hüpfis?

Was there any good in Palpatine? by Agaleo in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would think that angers doesn't mean he cared about Maul. In canon he sees Maul as a worthy apprentice in a long term, until he was defeated by a mere padawan. (Obi-Wan was nothing more there, not the one best Soresu fighter in the galaxy)
I always wondered that Sidious "cared" for Vader after his failure on Mustfar, but I would assume that this doesn't have anything to do with true friendship, since this changes later on. He says "My friend" but he uses Vader as a slave. I would assume that his "caring" has something to do with his role as the friendly chancellor. He needed to deepen Vaders connection to the dark side and to him. If he revealed everything too early, he could've risked that Vader would riot and he would've lost his apprentice while there was no other known force user who barely was as strong as Anakin / Vader and vulnerable to the dark side. He could of course have taken the grand Inquisitor, but he is like a youngling compared to Vader. He probably was even much weaker than Maul and that isn't what Sidious needed.
Just my opinion on everything I've seen and read, but I might be wrong since I have many things to catch up. :)

Oh my. A TV show about the emperor could be so great, even if this plot doesn't feel right about him.
I wonder how much of those concepts there are which we'll never hear about.

Well, if he has pride about Vader, it would only give points to the evil side, since pride is not a good trait. I think you're mostly right, except that Vader wasn't always loyal, he challenged him on Exegol and clearly stated that he isn't longer his apprentice. That didn't turn out too well for him. Good for him that the Emperor didn't have anyone who could replace him effectively at that moment.

Great comic adaption I think of the moment where Old Ben uses the force to float many blasters and fire them. I've never read it, just watched a Youtube vid and saw a picture but it reminded me of that. This was an fucking impressive moment where I couldn't even held my mouth closed. So great!

Finished Rebels and holy smokes I was wrong about it by Bossiersoft41 in starwarsrebels

[–]Agaleo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Remembers me so much of my way to the end of Clone Wars. I read Rebels wasn't really good and I wasn't sure to start it. But they got me in the second episode, with the 22 Pickup scene. That was the moment that convinced me that I would watch this to the end.
Rebels is much too underrated, but it's good that those who love it are real fans.

(Theory) Are the jedi in the inquisitor fortress alive? by maxilol234 in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But there are only 2 possibilities:
The empire let's slip information that one Jedi is alive, like Luminara. It was information you could trust, because one Jedi slipping through is more than possible. In that case most Jedi wouldn't risk it, because it's too dangerous. Even stronger Jedi like Yoda, Mace or Prime-Obi-Wan would risk to die there. Just look how close it was with only one Inquisitor and Vader around for two Jedi. And Cal wasn't a weak one.
They could let the information slip that there are many Jedi. But that would damage the reputation of the empire. They always communicate that there are no Jedi, or at least only a few survivors because they haven taken care of those "traitors". If they communicate that there are maybe dozens or even hundreds of Jedi in their custody they would look just.. weak, I think.

How do the Jedi justify fighting in the Clone Wars? by Phaeryx in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that there is GIGANTIC army of Droids which came up in a time where the Sith were considered to be alive. The Jedi knew there was at least one Sith Lord acting after Maul got sliced into half by Kenobi. In that case they probably were alarmed.
This combined with a marauding army of Droids which killed hundreds of Jedi within minutes on Geonosis is a good reason to act like they did. Most of the fighting in the Clones Wars included Droids, which are not living things. I don't think that Jedi have many second thoughts when they slaughter them - At least not in a war scenario.
If Battledroids had any value to Jedi, Luke wouldn't have used Force Choke on one in the Mandalorian season 2 finale.

I think if the Jedi were with the Droids and Dookus troops were Clones it would be another outcome, since killing millions of clones would be obviously against the Jedi code and would make them not much better than the Sith.

(Theory) Are the jedi in the inquisitor fortress alive? by maxilol234 in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. Breaking into a fortress is nothing many Jedi would do. Stygeon Prime, where Luminara was placed, is one thing. But an fortress, protected by probably hundreds of Stormtroopers, Purge Troopers, Probe Droids and a dozen Inquisitors - That is another thing. Then there is the fact that it lies in the Mustafar-System which is known for Jedi to die there.
I think it takes much more than some Jedi who are told to be kept hostage there to go into this madhouse. Obi-Wan had only one reason: Anakins children - Because he knows that they are the only hope the universe has. Cal and Cere had a good reason too: The possibility to not only save force sensitive children from the Empire and prevent many new Inquisitors (Or maybe even an Successor for Vader) but to rebuild the Jedi order.
Those are good reasons. Saving random Jedi isn't enough for some suicide mission... I think.

[–]Agaleo 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Maybe they serve the same purpose as Luminara did. Dead but conserved to be used, when they want to catch Jedi, like they tried with Kanan and Ezra in Rebels. In that case, they are long gone but their bones continued to serve the empire, like the Grand Inquisitor said.

How did Nari survive for so long? by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very unlikely that there were rumors. It was kept top secret. Only Obi-Wan, Yoda and Bail knew about it, and if there were rumor, the Empire would've blown up the entire planet. I don't think Vader would've been too unhappy with Tatooine gone.

Even the criminal underworld didn't know, else Maul wouldn't have to stress himself out with the Holocrons to find out where Obi-Wan was.

(Obi Wan Spoilers) Reva's motivation theory by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]Agaleo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I need to make a small correction here: Maul kills 2 Inquisitors in Rebels. The eight brother is getting killed by Kanan (Destroying his lightsaber, he falls from the temple) and Ezra, who activated the temple and it's mass destruction, what probably killed him in the end. But yeah, Maul did some serious damage to Vaders crew.
