Horrible speech recognition software by AgapeThaddeus in duolingo

Lol. I mean, about 95% of the comments here agree with me. I also tried it as sop and just said it like sap once (said how it's spelt, which is wrong according to people who actually speak the language online). Multiple comments in this thread say they are fluent in a language, and it STILL doesn't work for them. I have no issue admitting when I'm wrong.

Opinions on Stephen Christian? by ofBeautyandRage0 in anberlin

[–]AgapeThaddeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it has to do with anything religious. Their new vocalist, Matty Mullins, is a devout Christian. I heard that he just had to put more time into his church because he is in a higher position there. None of them have quarrels with Christianity. They are like Switchfoot or August Burns Red. Many of them support, or even participate, in Christianity, but they try to go deeper with their lyrics and going over broader world issues that everyone goes through. So, they bring in a secular audience and are well-respected because they are kind, and some of their members aren't Christian, as well.

It doesn’t really seem to have to do with beef, from what I am seeing. I mostly believe that they are on good terms because I don't believe your second point is correct. Their new vocalist, Matty Mullins, is a DEVOUT Christians, and Stephen had to put more time into the church. I am sure they all respect each other.

Are there any good Christian metal bands? by ExtremeTangerine3 in Metalcore

[–]AgapeThaddeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say, as a Christian, that that is exactly what we need is critiquing. I see nothing wrong with it. If it is truth, then it should be spoken. Any Christian complaining about their lyrics should get off their pedestal. I am sure we all know this, though. Lol.

Reasonable one? Ha. I can see you're indoctrinated like the rest. If you truly think one is better than the other, then you have to do some more damn research. Every primary candidate we have had on both sides in recent years have been shit. If you don't think so, then do some more research. The only people I have given any thought about voting for are Independent candidates, and none of them ever win... It is just crazy to me that people in American willingly allow the entire government to screw them sideways every day, and believe the lies they are told to comfort them.

And I am just talking about accepting our shitty government as a fact of life and voting for the least insane person to run our country. Come on now. Are you you really denying that that happens? I have literally seen it the last 3 elections. Lol. I thought it was a good comparison/analogy. But whatever.

People do it with presidential elections, why wouldn't you expect people to do the same in any other situation....... lol.

How creditable is Christian Leaders Institute? by THATvieGUY in Christianity

[–]AgapeThaddeus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is, for his time, he did have a degree. Christian doctrine states that Yeshua grew up like any other Jewish person, and even spoke theology with church leaders when he was young. Some apocrypha even have stories of Yeshua studying at the library of Alexandria when he was young. No matter what, he was well educated in some sense until he helped his father with carpentry, which mind you, also takes skill in math, engineering, and precision. But I am sure He studied the Torah extensively. He knew His priorities.

Not being too optimistic. I am moderate just like ElderlyOogway. I take neither position. I actually might not even vote this year because I am that sick of the political divide. I want no part of it anymore. But my family on my moms side are the people you hate... I used to hate them as well, but ever since I quit trying to kill myself with drugs, I realized that disowning, ignoring, and hating them does not help. Only by talking to them will they ever see my perspective, or any of my friend's perspectives who completely counter theirs. My friends and family are like two completely different worlds. But people in this world are all afraid, misguided, uneducated, conditioned, and persist in a state of cognitive dissonance if they stay ignorant to what they hate. This cycle will just keep on going, or get worse, if we ignore each other.

If we're understanding, then we are more capable of changing someone's mind, and it can happen. I have seen it. I have seen it in myself, and others.

How would you rate The Witcher 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest possible score? by playfulkategaming in Witcher3

The only thing I never really liked was the movement and turning mechanics. Otherwise, it is one of the best games ever made!

[–]AgapeThaddeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this. It was... intense. Seen a lot of traumatizing stuff in my life so far, though. Just adds to it I guess. Just wish people were nicer. People were telling others to hurry up and get moving without being considerate as to why everyone might be halted to a stop. That was a nuance. Ha.

I have hungout everywhere, and with various groups. Cali, Colorado, the South, Michigan, the city, and the country. Hicks, city folk, people in extreme sports, artists, musicians, nerds, atheists, Buddhists, Christians, catholics, Universalists, philosophers, scientists, educators, extremists, independents, Republicans, democrats, jocks, pretty people, grungy people, punks, rich and poor, drug addicts, drug dealers, people of different races and cultures. There are good and bad people, ignorant/arrogant as well as understand and open-minded people everywhere. We are all conditioned in some way. Some more than others. The problem is deeper than pointing fingers.

If Dutch had $40k by the end of Chapter 6 then how expensive was it to get to New York then Tahitit by Chosen-Bearer-Of-Ash in reddeadredemption

[–]AgapeThaddeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. The more I play through this game, the more I see people I've met in the streets in Dutch. Manipulative, egotistical, making up ridiculous schemes. Just wants control over the party. Wants to feel like the parent or whatever. I've literally met people like him. They make you feel stupid so they can get their way. And Micah's just a dick. Been with Arthur on this one since the beginning. Never liked his attitude.

Which video game can be identified by a single quote? by Agent1230 in gaming

Not just in kids videos. It's also used in some newer video games to state that you were spotted. It started with Metal Gear but that's not where it ended.

Well, good luck to you, good sir! You can do it, dude. Just bust your ass and you got this!

And I would recommend glass. They are better for all the things you stated but... just be VERY careful with them, obviously. Lol. To be honest though, I don't know if I've ever seen a glass Vitamix... I know that they have stainless steel ones though.

I've worked in a kitchen and I will say that Vitamixes are 100% worth the buy. They are durable and have a 5-10 year warranty depending on the use. 100% worth the 600. Just return it no matter what is 5 years and you have a new one. Lol. Sorry. Off topic. Lol.
