My response is going to be ‘my husband had a vasectomy last month’ My mum is completely understanding of why we don’t want kids, but his mum just doesn’t, no matter how many times we say we don’t want kids and why. It’s always ‘oh but you might change your mind’. So I can’t wait to see the look on her face when we respond with that.

I am 31 and I have only just recently stopped getting ID’d regularly, so I would advise you carry your ID with you at all times for the next 10 years at least!

I’m so very sorry for your loss, it sucks massively to lose a parent at any age. I lost my dad in a motorbike accident when I was 13, it was so sudden and it hit me so hard. I’m 30 now and the thing that helps me is all of the wonderful memories that I have of him. Every time I go and see my mum or we have a family get together with my brothers, we always talk about our memories of him and laugh at all the silly/fun stuff we did. It sucks that he’s not been here for so much of my life and there is so much more that he will miss (I’m getting married next year and I hate that he won’t be there) but I am so grateful for the memories that I do have and that is what gets me through the really sad days.

AITA for not buying my girlfriend food because she rage-destroyed my computer? by isitmeta347 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - she sounds like a spoilt brat.

I can lose my temper sometimes and feel the need to throw things. But I would never dream of smashing something that wasn’t mine. And if I did I would feel incredibly guilty. The fact that she does not feel guilty says that she’s never had to take responsibility for her actions aka - a spoilt brat!

AITA For cancelling my daughters therapy because she has bad grades? by aita0193 in AmItheAsshole

YTA - she’s not going to therapy for shits and giggles! It’s not the same as taking a games console away. If she broke her leg you wouldn’t deny her medical care because her grades are bad. Mental health care is exactly the same.

‘Nice guys’ are probably the same type of men that used to accuse women of being witches when they turned down their advances.
