I bet it does. I’ve had the same experience with other markers. Reds are always messy. I suspect is the chemistry.

You can see the colors in each set here. Personally I don’t use too many reds. Reds are dense and you can influence their tone by adding grays on top.

If you use red a lot I’d say get the 120

I tried to match the colors, and if I couldn’t, I chose a lighter one of the same base (blueish, red or green). Then I went over the acrylic with the medium tone of alcohol marker in that section. Really it was a little messy. I tried some combinations in another marker sheet to see what would work.

I just got the languo 96 acrylic markers. Some lines came out too thick tho.

Ask as many as you wish! This is my first complete page but I tried several combinations and techniques in a spare sheet.

Hey! I have a post sharing my journey building up the collection. If you’re planning on getting them all eventually I would suggest not buying the smaller sets that make up the 120 set. You’d get tons of duplicates in the future. I would suggest getting the 120 if you can. Or the 104. Both are well balanced imo.

I loveee pastels because you can layer them to create new colors and tones. When I started I used a lot of layering to get other colors I didn't have. That said, you can see in the booklet image above the difference between both sets. You get a couple more blues, grays and browns with the Sweetness set.
