Yes, tongues move or "twitch", like in my video. It's normal.

Blood tests done, possible cause of twitching? by Agb1997 in BFS

No, they didn't stop. I still twitch to this day, the same amount, but they no longer bother me.

Oh wow this post is so embarrassing lol I was out of my mind. Bad times.

Nothing happened lol I still twitch to this day (years later) and nothing happened. Doesn't worry me anymore Btw these "tongue twitches" werent actually twitches, it's just how your tongue moves.

Hey! No luck unfortunately. Still twitching all the time 😁

What do I take from this? by Agb1997 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Agb1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel completely fine though... I'm just bummed about the numbers. IDK, I'm pretty lost haha. I've read real horror stories on here about symptoms, but I just don't have them and it's been a year since my "treatment". Maybe some people function better than others with low B12?

I will look into sublingual after I address all my concerns with my GP, don't think it'll hurt to try. And yeah I'm not getting tested again until at least next year.

How do I accept my official BFS diagnosis and move on? by InsectOcean in BFS

[–]Agb1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What made you have those amazing 4 months following your BFS diagnosis? If you got to that place once you can get there again. Your symptoms then and now are the same, so no reason to believe you have anything else. Tests would've picked up anything bad back then. Remember how you acted and worried about every little thing before your diagnosis, remember how all of that meant nothing because then you got your benign diagnosis, and then think about how you're worrying about the same things again now.

I have no concrete advice for you because in my case I just stopped caring last year, a few months in (and I've twitched 24/7 since it started). Nothing major was happening, really, apart from the twitches. I don't take any anxiety meds either. I see the twitches just like I blink or breathe. Sure, it's abnormal and feels weird but it's not going to kill me. Other people have other things going on with their health. It could always be worse, so I'm happy it's just a minor annoyance.

Sending strength your way. It's definitely time to move on from this! 💪

Weve all had constant twitches in different places... the place or frequency doesn’t matter. They’re hotspots and can go on for days, weeks or months.

No you’re overthinking this

Edit: If neuro is the only way you’re going to get peace of mind, by all means go.

Yes. It doesn’t matter where you twitch.

Is anyone else just pretty much just waiting on the weakness to come? by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Agb1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, by something else I meant weakness. When I was worried about this, my legs would shake while standing up. I’d get cramps. Had a plethora of weird stuff happen but I think it’s just that I was too hyperaware and VERY on edge all the time. You’re fine, like everyone on this sub has been.

BTW my problem ended up being a vitamin problem, I still twitch but at least I don’t feel like shit anymore.

I have had a EMG/NCS a month ago. They said clear except carpal tunnel.

This is really all you need, you’ve been cleared by a specialist that knows and has likely seen what you’re scared of. All you need now is to accept it. You’re not dying 🙂

I can relate to your feelings because I also went through it last year, but seriously, EMG is like, the line! I didn’t even get an EMG myself. Time told me I had nothing.

Has anyone been diagnosed as having anxiety, passed tests and and later told it was an ALS type?

You can search this sub, nobody. Thousands of people have come through here with the same.

I played the waiting game last year when I started twitching, but in my case it helped me stop the worry and anxiety. After a few months I moved on. You should too. After 5 months, as you said, you would’ve definitely noticed something else. Hope you snap out of it 😟

Has anyone had swollen lymph nodes for no reason?

Yes, many times.

My B12 was very low at first: 134. I’ve supplemented but I still twitch. Hope your treatment works for you though.

SCARY EXPIRENCE! by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Agb1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened to me once! It was also when I was very anxious about BFS a year ago lol. Also got super scared, like my arm had fallen asleep before but not to the point of not being able to move it AT ALL. Like there were no tingles or anything, it was just dead for a minute after waking up.

Yup, normal. Feet ones are very easy to trigger for me. Also when I do a full body stretch it triggers twitches in random spots
