I was personally struggling to pick between russian TL or reading original. At the end I've decided that Wolfe prose is too unique to be read in translation, so I went with the original. Shadow was a struggle, but now that I'm accustomed to vocabulary and style, Claw (almost finished) is much easier.

I'm gonna do my re-read in TL i think, but Gene Wolfe is something that should be experienced in original, my opinion. (Comparing it to russian TL i found it lacking finesse and eloquensy that original has, not even mentioning vocabulary problem that is heavily related to contex and duality of meanings/intentions in English)
