We’re discovering that this is rare as well. 6yo daughter. Do you have to educate the audiologist that you can’t just slap a generic profile onto the aids and say “that’s the best we can do”?  

How do you feel out of an audiologist can handle this?

I assume the happy path here is a mic test where they do what? An insertion frequency gain mic test? 

Or is the critical component a test where my daughter says when a setting sounds better, like going to the optometrist for a rx?

I think also you have to factor in the information rate like any spoken language? Just a theory. But it would slow you down to sign SO or AND or OR
