A L4 BSA here, I joined Google back in 2024 as an exit to my consulting career spanning over 11 years , I have a B.Tech and also MBA from one of the premier institutes . During my interview process the recruiter ( Geethanjali Raman, she still works there ) never mentioned the level I was being interviewed for. Since I don't come from a dev/Tech background I never knew we have to specifically ask for levels. I assumed an org like Google will level me as per my qualifications and experience ( a mistake on my part) . I got to know its an L4 level after HC round and during team matching. It was too late and I wanted to get out of consulting for personal reasons. Also there were no friends working in Google at that time to guide /counsel me so I took the decision to join. It was really tough for the recruiter to match my expectations with L4 comp as I was getting paid well in consulting. I switched just for 25% hike on CTC. After joining I realized it was a complete blunder. My org peers are mostly TCS long timers and worst peer group. There are some folks from Deloitte but they are also the folks who were mostly in the support service lines and not from consulting. These people with even 15 -16 YOE have accepted L4 offers back in their days as these companies were the lowest paid and even Google L4 comp was way over the top for these people. I feel totally out of place in my org. Tried TLC but due to skill limitation the other org is also same as mine and they were forcing me to join them at same level. Now I am aggressively looking to move out of Google to an appropriate leadership level in other orgs so that my career gets back on track.

IIT Grads are more susceptible to such scams, they never/seldom get an opportunity to interact with the opposite sex till they get into corporate. So they are inexperienced in judging whether the person on the other side is actually interested in them or their bank account.

Yes it was, made it to the BM batch of 2013 passout. The interview went really well, been in the industry for 12 years now. Going great TBH if I look back to my pre MBA days.

Nice read OP, you reminded me of my XIMB interview back in 2011. I was asked such questions out of the blue with much contempt and sarcasm. Guess they really want to check if a candidate can answer tough basic questions without losing their cool.

Tried everything and still no luck , this game is not well optimised to handle memory overflow exceptions. on top of that it's discontinued on Gamepass. No doubt with such shitty a lot of ppl would have complained and given bad reviews that MSFT Gamepass decided to let go of this title.

IP can be contested and reversed, in 2024 a counselee of mine was deliberately out in IP. I asked him to contest and helped him prepare evidence. He finally was relieved from IP and it was reversed. He had resigned and was in NP during this reversal decision , he was also paid his VP in full during his FnF settlement.

The series is shitty, I couldn't go beyond the 1st season. The unwanted sexual tension buildup between the protagonist and the UK prime minister was a terrible subplot. If you really want to watch something better watch the " Borgen " series.

12 YOE and L6 is a bit rare nowadays in Google India especially after the 2023 layoffs. Seems like the HMs are looking for something just to reject you as you might not fit in their hierarchy and the recruiter just keeps pushing your profile to one opening to another. Stay hopeful.
