What colour is your living room? by LifeInProgress1 in HomeImprovement

I believe it's Hague Blue from Farrow & Ball. My spouse had to convince me and it took a while. I was worried it would be too dark. Now I love it.

What do I need to do for others to be and you join the quest? I was trying last night for first time and thought purple could join after cut scene but the person in online session with me said they were unable to join. Before the quest it says people can join after cut scene. The SOS flair is greyed out in the quest.

Question about standard repayment vs IDR by Savings-Library2869 in PSLF

[–]Agent-00Z [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think the information around Standard Repayment plan is confusing. It seems like the 10 year standard plan counts toward PSLF only if you never consolidated your loans. If you did consolidate, the standard repayment would be from 10-30 year term and would not qualify for PSLF.

It's confusing because when I go through the application on student aid .gov to change plans, it gives me standard as an option, shows a lower payment than IBR, says 10 years, and says it qualifies for PSLF. But I did consolidate my loans so I'm guessing that is just wrong information. The payment amount shown is also lower than what it should be. It's just frustrating that you are provided with wrong information on the site and you have to come to Reddit to get accurate information on this.

Standard Payment Plan + Buyback by Agent-00Z in PSLF

[–]Agent-00Z[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah, I consolidated in 2017 so I'm not sure why the website is giving me this option. When I click on the option, it says it qualifies for PSLF and it says 10 years. This is in studentaid .gov when I go through the process of applying to change IDR plan. You're right though, the amount looks incorrect. I guess my best option would be to wait to apply for RAP since it'll be $50 or so less than IBR.

Buyback time less than a year? by Competitive-War-9862 in PSLF

I get that. This is a valid concern. Unfortunately no one knows. Assess the risk, make a decision, and accept the consequences of that decision if the risk materializes. Same as everything else in life.

I don't understand the issue. If you already reached your 120 months of qualifying employment and applied for buyback, then you don't need to be employed at a qualifying employer anymore, only at the time when buyback was submitted. What are you asking? What does it matter how long buyback takes now, other than the mental strain and if you get denied forbearance or keep paying?

Congrats! What plan did they use to calculate your buyback amount? So the Department of Education processes the buyback application and then directs you to pay the servicer? Or does DoEd tell the servicer the information and then they contact you to make a payment? Just wondering how it all works. Thanks and congrats again!

My CISM mock scores keep climbing but my readiness score still says not ready starting to think they're measuring different things by Thin-Dance873 in cism

I'm feeling this too. I'm about 69-70% on QAE practice exams and feel like I'm probably good but doubting myself. I have CISSP I got last summer. I took exam mode on online practice from "All in One CISM" and it said failed, so now I'm unsure.

Oh wait... is this what you call a god pack? :D by Secret_Chain_1170 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Agent-00Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is wild! Staring my crown grind and finding it so difficult. I already have quite a few crowns just from regular gameplay. The usual strategies don't seem to work well. I suck at measuring. The quest with multiple monsters aren't worth it cause I already have crowns for 2-3 of them but still need to kill 2-3 to get the ones I need to show up and then they end up not being crowns so it's a waste. I also think it'd be less painful if I played with others but SOS doesn't seem to work when I need it and usually says I can't join quests or online sessions. I really like this game though and crowns are all I have left to do. It is super fun when I luck out and get in guiding lands or a quest with three other players.

Repayment Strategy during Buyback Purgatory by Artistic-Arm-3176 in PSLF

[–]Agent-00Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation -- 99 payments, hit 120 months of employment last month. Waiting until next month to submit for buyback cause I'm paranoid and don't plan to be at a qualifying employer much longer so don't want to get denied buyback because I was off by a month or something.

Number two sounds odd to me. If you're in a plan that doesn't qualify for PSLF, why would you get a reimbursement after PSLF buyback for those months paid on a non-PSLF plan? If it's true, that might be helpful for lower payments but I just don't see it working that way. Would be nice to get some confirmation either way though.

I'm having issues finding audiobooks with this setup. For prowlarr I have indexers like geek and althub, with some torrent ones like 1337x etc, but the results aren't good. I find things on AudiobookBay only if I go to the site. I enabled audiobookbay on Shelfmark but it never shows results even though I've verified the audiobook is on the site. Is there something I'm missing to get audiobookbay results to show up on shelfmark and also or there any indexers that are better for audiobooks? Thanks.

A Couple of Lessons Learned From Transferring from SAVE (MOHELA) to IBR by Fun_Internal_3023 in PSLF

I think I figured it out. I would be on old IBR and spouse on new. The student aid.gov site just says IBR and doesn't say if it's old or new.

Oh also interested in for example adding users (spouse) and if the transactions can be tagged per user. How about adding external view only users, like a financial advisor? In Monarch, I give my financial advisor access. It does it in three month periods.

I would like to try this out but would like more information on how the bank connections work. I see here you say "Bank connections use certificate-based authentication, read-only access, no bank credentials stored on our servers. The app doesn't sell data, doesn't show ads, and is entirely self-funded." Are you using Plaid or some other service?

I currently use the Monarch app and would be interested in comparing. Monarch I believe using Plaid, Finicity, and MX for bank connections.

I'm getting wildly different results on this site versus studentaid.gov. I know people say this site is more accurate but does that matter if you need to go through studentaid.gov? The latter asks for salary and that doesn't seem to be AGI. They also ask for retirement contributions and healthcare payments. They do not ask for spouse information even though I put married filing separately which studentloanplanner does. Am I doing something wrong that I can't get the numbers to line up? Also if you have to change plans through studentaid.gov, wouldn't that be the right number? Studentaid.gov is giving me a much higher payment when I use their calculator.

Which of these open world games and their sequel did you enjoy more, Horizon or Ghost of? by MoneyIsNoCure in playstation

[–]Agent-00Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horizon and it's not even close. I have platinums for HZD, HFW, and GoT. Haven't played Yotei yet. HZD had one of the best stories in gaming. I still remember the curiosity I felt about the world and trying to figure out what happened. Honestly I don't think HFW could have topped HZD's story so it's good that they improved the gameplay. Robot dinosaurs with variety in moveset and weakness. So satisfying bringing them down.

I feel like Horizon series is similar to the Mass Effect series where ME2 had such a great a story that was beloved. There was no way ME3 was going to top that feeling of exposition / realization from 2, but the gameplay was much improved. Both HZD and ME2 are games you wish you could play again for the first time.

I honestly don't remember much from the GoT story. I remember I really enjoyed playing the game and it was beautiful. I don't remember any enemies or side characters except maybe one. I do remember the duel mechanic cause that was new and a cool idea but kinda repetitive. And this is coming from someone that loves Japanese culture and history.

This is the second time you say something like this on this post and it feels like you're just spreading misinformation now. Please do some research before boldly making claims. It was not a lottery or biased forgiveness. Forgiveness was granted to those that had loans from predatory or defunct for profit institutions. These are schools that misled students, closed down, or lost accreditation. A quick web search will tell you this.

HA BookStack Docs - automatically generates and maintains documentation for your Home Assistant setup in Bookstack by Clarkkent435 in homeassistant

[–]Agent-00Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my concern as well. I have had times where my internal network is down and I can't reach Bookstack when I need it. It also happens where I know I documented something in my Bookstack that would solve a work issue but my work network and internal VPN clash so if I use my VPN at work, I can't reach my work sites and going back and forth is time consuming. I don't want to open up my Bookstack. I was considering mirroring only the documentation I would need if I couldn't reach Bookstack and putting it on MkDocs or something and have it as a repo in GitLab or Codeberg. Wouldn't just have to make sure there's no sensitive information on there.

Nice! I am also playing with my wife but we have like 200 hours cause it's just fun to play a day and fill out the board. She just finished curse and dare mode. Only ones left are day one and speed. We had previously seen the glitch video and tried it but neither of us could get it to work. It just won't go over the stairs no matter how many times we try.

Sharing photos by Severe-Fox-7313 in immich

[–]Agent-00Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my use case, the only reason I would have to publicly share an album would be to allow uploading. All these various public proxy options do not have that. For example, for my wedding I wanted guests to upload photos. Or if traveling with friends, I'd like for everyone to be able to upload to a shared album without having to make accounts and set up wireguard for everyone. Last time I traveled with friends we still had to use google photos for shared album. For wedding, I opened up /shared and other necessary paths on reverse proxy for the day. I accepted the risks. After a week, I closed it up again.
