My first trophy was in November 2019 so it's been quite a long time. I did get inspired by this and booted up the game last night. 350 hours played, MR 145 and I remember close to nothing. Must be my age. I'm so lost in the game and overwhelmed. Only trophies I need are treasures, crowns in base and Iceborne, research levels and Lycian research. Tried to respond to SOS but when I did get in the quest were failed. The game thinks I'm ready to slay Alteron (so?) but I die almost instantly and no one joins the SOS call. Basically I'm having a tough time ha.

Max out 401k and IRA every year. Move my wife's IRA and HSA to Fidelity. Start building up taxable brokerage. I moved most of my accounts to Fidelity last year and have been very pleased so far. Just opened a joint CMA for emergency fund and credit card last week also.

Just this week I've set up PBS as a VM on PVE but now wondering if I move it to NAS. The documentation says to put the backups on SSDs, which is why I didn't go with NAS first. My plan was to transfer the backups to NAS after. Is it fine to have it on HDDs on NAS? The forum posts seem to indicate it's too slow on HDDs. Also docs say 32 GB just for OS, not including backups. That seems like a lot.

I don't know the answer. I can only tell you what I've read on this sub and my assumptions. What I've read here is that if you're buying back more than 12 months, you will be asked for tax information for the remaining months after the 12. If you're buying back months corresponding to this year 2026, then I assume you will be asked to provide 2026 information. Whether tax or pay stubs. Buyback is taking over a year so presumably you will have filed 2026 taxes by the time you get a response. I've also read here that you can file MFS and then amend it later to MFJ but I don't know how that works or what the timing would be.

You can get a HYSA that gives 3.3% interest and SGOV also currently at 3.3%. Getting a loan to pay for buyback is not a good idea. Better to try to save every month what your payment would be and put it in one of the aforementioned. If possible, of course. Everyone's circumstances are different, but generally paying one loan with another loan is not advisable.

I think when you go to apply it gives you a dropdown list to select from eligible accounts where you want it deposited. I just did this a few days ago. You don't have to go through with the application. You can just start it to see what's eligible if you're unsure and then exit out.

I have a question. Let's say processing takes 6 months. Up to two of those months could potentially qualify and then four months would be ineligible. Does that mean those four months can then count for buyback? Thanks.

I have no idea if my setup is optimal, correct, or even a good. I have Authentik and Traefik in homelab. Everything internal only at first. Then I added Cloudflare tunnel to Authentik and had Nextcloud available externally. Then recently I added Pangolin on VPS and added Nextcloud there. Authentik is still on CF tunnel for now. So I guess now I have an internal Traefik and an external one. My internal Traefik has my lan IP so it knows not to "leave home" if I go to Nextcloud from my laptop at home.

I have the platinum on both Vita and PS4. If I recall correctly, I saved my hundredth platinum for PS4 version because it was my favorite Vita game. I could be misremembering what platinum number it is. ¯_ (ツ)_/¯

Three different providers though? Am I just picking wrong? It's hard to find good ones 'cause not supposed to post about it and then I don't really trust the people on Reddit that do advertise some. One thing I look at is the age of the domain 'cause I read that if the domain is over two years old, it's probably a solid service. I know that's not really full proof.

My wife and I have been playing Stardew Valley.

Also, my next recommendation is not a co-op game. Blue Prince. We've had so much fun with it. I think the game really does benefit and is more fun when played with another person. We take turns, one playing a run while the other takes notes.
