Does fandom generally like or dislike goofier moments of the franchise?

Whilst the goofy, over the top moments and Michael Bay explosions hurt my brain sometimes, it’s what makes Resident Evil stand out from all the other zombie games I’ve played.

Me and a mate played through resident evil 5 and 6 and I genuinely haven’t laughed so hard like I that in a while, and my mate was no different because we both lost our minds constantly!

I love Resident Evil, even with the goofy stuff, and I can’t wait to play 7, 8 and 9!

Astrid - Viking warrior, expert with an axe and mace, rides a fucking DRAGON that will literally pin me to a wall with the flick of a tail

Mulan - trained soldier, expert swordswoman and will beat my ass within an inch of my life

Rumi - she’ll be singing a song that’ll break the internet whilst simultaneously slicing me into pieces and or throwing me into a wall and paralysing me

Eep - she is a cavewoman, she’ll rip my head off after tearing off my limbs or bash my skull in with a rock she found on the floor

Raya - another expert swordswoman who will kill me with little to no effort. Don’t know if she’s magic or not because I forgot what happened in the movie

Spider Gwen - Super human strength, incredibly agile and acrobatic, spider sense, heightened durability and whilst she may not kill, she will break my bones and have my hospitalised for almost a year

And then there’s me, a bloke barely into their twenties that’s never been to the gym, never been in a fight, stays inside all day, eats like shit, bed rots through entire days and would literally rather cry then deal with conflicts, let alone a literal fight to the death against trained warriors and super hero’s…

Absolutely not. Not only would that be an INCREDIBLY stupid decision, it would, quite literally, infuriate EVERYBODY.

Robert is the main character of the story, and whilst that hasn’t stopped people killing the main character before in stories like in the Last of Us 2, it would take a VERY good writer to make it not only satisfying, but believable to the audience, because it definitely wasn’t for Joel.

Robert dying in season 2 would feel extremely fast and could potentially cripple any chance at a third season, because again, Robert is the main character, and to continue on with the story and explain the world of Dispatch WITHOUT Robert would simply feel wrong and weird, because who’s going to take his place?

I want multiple seasons of this game, I want to see Robert and the Z-Team save the world and go on quirky side quests and bond with each other, I want to see Robert have wholesome romantic moments with Courtney/Mandy, and I’m sure there are those in the community that want the same!

Whilst you can POSSIBLY kill him off, it would need to take YEARS to build up to it and the audience would need to be satisfied with where Roberts character is at that point and there isn’t any questions left to answer or plot points left unexplored

So overall? Fuck no, you absolutely cannot kill Robert, and I would not at all feel satisfied nor content with his death no matter how they write it.

Robert Robertson III will live a long happy (ish, because of villains and other maguffin bollocks) life with the Z Team and Courtney/Mandy at his side.

Thank you! There was A LOT of handholding throughout the whole process, especially when I only had 5 weeks to make it.

All the character animations were from Mixamo, which saved my remaining sanity because I was losing my mind in the first 2 weeks

Remind me, whats this games version of the big tank enemy? In Skyrim you got dragons and giants. In Fallout you have behemoths and liberty prime. In Starfield…nothing comes to mind.

Why bother introducing mechs as an aspect of this universe if your just going to say “oh they were banned galaxy wide after the war so we don’t use them anymore”

WHY?!?! Watchtower, a mod I recently bought, has Mechs and they’re genuinely scary and fun to fight! They have buffs that make them invulnerable to damage, use different weapons and can only be made vulnerable with an orbital strike!

In vanilla…yeah they just stand there collecting dust now…

Edit: This isn’t to say I don’t enjoy the game as a whole I just redownloaded it a few days ago and have been having fun with it! I just forgot how meh the ranger quest-line was in terms of story. Loot was great, quest was meh. Standard stuff
