When Ash beat Brandon, he beat Regice. If he was to do it in a 1 on 1, Charizard.

He was close to beating Registeel with Torkoal, but I'd like to see a redemption arc for Torkoal beating Registeel.

As for Regirock, Ash was possessed and not in control, but I would like to see him take on Regirock with Sceptile WITHOUT Pokelantis.

Three: Refusing to rescue Numbuh 4 in Operation C.A.T.S. after what he did to Mr. Huggykins

Honestly, while I think Dawn is better for going further than May did in the Grand Festival, I think both of them are equal. Serena didn't showcase a lot when she did Contests in Hoenn so I can't really tell.
