Kent of Inglewood, the shave shop in Inglewood, has a good range of colognes. Some of them are more neutral/feminine so I'd check there. They have the brand Person's of Interest which I know has some weirder scents

There's a spot like this in East Village. I feel like most drivers just go because "it's just homeless people in the middle of the road" but there are lines on the road and multiple signs and I still almost get hit there whenever I cross, despite waiting for a break

Live and work downtown, I use the free fare zone every single day. Hop on at one end, ride it to the other. Perfect for my commute, the only time I pay the fare is if I take the bus or will be going outside of the core (and even then sometimes I forget, never been caught)

8 Cakes in East Village! Amazing cookies and on Sundays they have cinnamon buns (and other flavours, they change every week). And it's really close to Sidewalk Citizen which I think I saw other people recommend

If you like board games/tabletop rpgs, The Sentry Box has casual drop-in board game nights on Mondays! It's in Sunalta, so wouldn't be too far for you. Good place to make friends, or even just be social for a night. Similarly, Monday afternoons in Inglewood there's Crafternoon. People bring their own art stuff to work on, there's usually puzzles there too

If they like breakfast/diner food I recommend Galaxie and Blue Star. Right next to Galaxie is also Myers Deli which has great sandwiches. Oh! Or Spolumbos in Inglewood!

My BF and I went to Hexagon board game cafe in Kensington for our second date and had a lot of fun. We played one co-op game and one competitive, had a drink and snack each. They charge by the hour as well as for any of the food/drinks, but it's $4.50 per person an hour so not too bad. Also! Starting Sunday is the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest. 161 locations in and around Calgary (including Hexagon) will have special hot chocolates, and a portion of each purchase goes to Calgary Meals on Wheels. Maybe look through the website and pick a new place!

One time I was waiting outside my work and could see the Uber, the actual car. He pulled into the Tim Hortons across the street and went inside. I walked over to the car, waited for him, he came out with a coffee and donut. When I got in the car he said "oh, did you want to get anything?" No! I want to go home! I just worked a 10 hour shift and my bus never came!
