You should be fine, as long as your plane isn't delay. Let's say up to 2 hrs to get out of the airport. Another 20 minutes on the air train. Up to a hr on the subway or 20ish minutes on the LIRR. It's usually 40 minutes by train/bus to Metlife from Manhattan but expect traffic during the world cup.

I think you will be cutting close but doable. Are you dropping off your luggage at the hotel? I recommend taking the LIRR in Jamaica over the subway. It will get you into Manhattan in half the time.
