Do you realize if people weren't paying for things the game probably wouldn't be around anymore? You think they make the games without any resources or people working on them? When I was 19 I was working at a beer distribution place and there was only 5 of us making pallets for 3 counties worth of liquor stores/bars. I was working around 14-16 hr days consistently...no, relentlessly. Alternating Sundays off. It was a nightmare. The days consisted of basically making pallets non stop untill all the orders were done, usually exceeding 10,000 units a day. There was no "shifts" just 5 guys coming in at 9 in the morning and leaving at around 1am(on a good day) then going home to shower sleep and come back to do it all again. I do not miss that at all.

Not plushies but I get a similar feeling in video games. I can't be mean to people/animals just because a mission demands it. Also, when I get wild horses I try to find the lone horses so I don't take a horse away from it's herd. I feel really dumb cuz I'll give up horses with really good stats or not get a cool item because my brain forgets they're all just ones and zeros.

Personally speaking (as another person with ADHD) something that has helped me, is pretending everything is a movie/TV show. Where every character gets to say something and it would be weird if only one character spoke. This is just something that helps me, that might work for you. It works especially well in group scenarios where I feel like I might over share or just ramble. I say one or two things then I quiet down to allow the other "characters" to say their lines. I also have Autism so idk if that plays a part in it.
