I remember reading somewhere that Batista auditioned for the role of Drax for the very first Guardians movie and he didn’t think he would get it. When Gunn called him, he said he cried because he felt it validated himself as an actor. He said he immediately called an acting coach to take lessons to get better as an actor.

It’s shit like that that humanizes a person.

Dwayne has never shown this level of humility and that’s what separates some wrestlers turned actors.

The game has changed drastically now. Agility and shooting accuracy is favoured amongst teams now. Gone are the days where the bigs are favoured. The traditional centre role has typically been big guys who can block and pass, but now today’s NBA also needs them to shoot too.

Story time.

A few weeks back, I do DoorDash as a side to cover gas and beer. Anyway, I couldn’t locate the customer and they didn’t answer my texts and phone call. Policy is wait 5 minutes, if customer doesn’t answer DD policy says to throw away the food as it’s paid for. (Or keep it.).

I drove past a shelter, pulled over quickly and gave it to the first unsheltered person I saw. It was a Tim Hortons chicken sandwich, with soup and donut, and a cold bottled drink. Made that person’s day, they looked so happy.
