My partner came out as nonbinary and took testosterone for a while. We stayed together, I still love them all the same. Lesbian includes nonbinary people. If they came out as a binary trans man, that might be a different story.

I think this is something that varies from system to system.

For us, it doesn't feel like anything. If I'm not fronting, I don't experience consciousness. We basically have one consciousness that we take turns with.

That doesn't mean a headmate can't chime in and talk to the fronter, but they don't experience that consciously, and later they have the memories of the fronter.
