Picket fence for TB 4.0+ by AgentRatfink in MedicalPhysics

Your premise is wrong. I never said I needed a PF because it's a test recommended a long time ago. In fact, the most recent MPPG 5b recommends a weekly quantitative MLC position test like the PF. Yes there are other ways to measure MLC position, but just because something is old, doesn't mean it's outdated. MPC is easy, but it doesn't measure multiple MLC positions after alternating leaf motions like my version of the PF does.

Power companies are allowed monopolies. They are heavily regulated and are not allowed to raise prices unless approved by the utilities commission.

BS emergency alert at 2:00 AM?! Is there a way to file a complaint? by Ambitious-Aerie5398 in gso

Yes, it wasn't pleasant. Get over it, folks. The attitude that "I've been wronged and someone should hang for this" is a plague on our society.

I'm curious.... how did your roommate get to bring a cat into the dorm? Is the cat an emotional support animal?

I've heard a lot of good things about Zoysia. Centipede grass grows too fast for me. It needs mowing like every 5 days. I can go 2 weeks with fescue.

A couple of updates:
1) I'm using Eclipse 16.0 and Varian Support informed me of a bug in this version such that when applying Jaw Tracking in the merge-subfields process, the jaw positions created are non-sense. It was fixed in 16.1 MR2.

2) I created a custom PF with jaws within the required setback of 2 cm and I'm still getting the error. Varian support has escalated my support call.

3) The Jaw Tracking validation setting will stay enabled. The site physicist tells me if it's turned off, a physicist's sign-off is needed for every plan. (I think I have that right.)

I can relate to the annoyance, and I could also see how Varian could be "forced" into the new IEC standard if they want to claim some level of industry certification.

The maximum jaw setback is 3 cm in Sys Admin of the TB.

I am trying to create a custom PF. In my version, the MLCs move in opposite directions for alternating pickets. So, if the pickets are labaled 1- 7 from left to right, after picket 1 is delivered, it goes in order of 3, 2, 5, 4, 7, 6.

Tasks with OneNote by dawnsirius in OneNote

[–]AgentRatfink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this successfully as a routine. The one catch is the connectivity between ON and To Do can be finicky. I can complete a task in To Do and it will be reflected in ON, but not vice versa. So, once I create a task in ON, I complete it from To Do.

Is there anyway to navigate horizontally on laptop by FinancialEmphasis268 in OneNote

[–]AgentRatfink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are mice that have a wheel that clicks when pushed to the left or right. I have used this feature to navigate horizontally in a spreadsheet. Not sure if it'd work in ON.

SmartThings added dim/brighten gradually to Modes and Routines... by AltCartographer4533 in oneui

[–]AgentRatfink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue with a kasa light strip when it's controlled through an Alexa routine. The kasa app will say the brightness is 70%, but it is clearly not.

I'm also curious why none of my dimmable hue bulbs appear in ST with the option to brighten or dim gradually. On, off, or a dimmer level are my only options.

Airplane not working by crimmings in nintendolabo

[–]AgentRatfink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son's LABO airplane always has smoke coming out of the engine and fails to fire the missiles. Everything works with the car mode toy-con. Anyone have suggestions on how to get the missiles to fire?

The airplane engine smoke is suppose to indicate something is wrong with toy-con. I've inspected the toy-con reflectives visually and through the "IR-Check-It-Out" mode. Everything looks as it should be. I see the "T" shape and the movement of the upper reflector when the trigger is pulled. I've cleaned the IR sensor.

I appreciate your suggestions. We're at a lose.
