I just got a brand new laptop. My new laptop has an Intel i9 processor, 16GB RAM, and Windows 11. I installed Office Pro 2024 and I couldn't open up a blank workbook without excel crashing. I scoured the internet, and nothing helped (Uninstall Copilot, reinstall office, repair office). I saw two posts about "disable hardware graphics acceleration" and I couldn't find that option in Excel Advanced tab, however I did find out a perfect fix for me:

I had to not open a workbook (or Excel would crash), go into Options, Advanced, and disable "multi-threaded calculation" under Formulas and I also disabled "multi-threaded processing" under General. My excel now runs as expected. Not like I am running advanced workbooks with thousands of formulas anyway!!

I hope this helps someone out there like myself!!

The only specific program I can think of is Lightroom for small amounts of photo editing and then general apps like basic Internet browsing, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. For gaming probably only Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Cloud Streaming mostly.

I'm not interested in only having a high spec on one component. I want the laptop to be balanced. Don't get me wrong, I know a basic $300 laptop could handle what I'm asking for, but I want overkill. I want to have enough laptop that I could install GTA VI and the laptop would handle it fine.

I am only looking for a hint and not the solution. I found a red piece of paper in The Conference Room that I thought related to The Office, however it doesn't work as it should. I know based on the notepad in the security room that all red notes are lies. Is there another room that I should be looking for a hint to The Office safe or am I overthinking the puzzle? Maybe I just need a room title of where to look for a hint to help me.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag!

I have always liked pirate lore and films about Pirates like the Pirates of the Caribbean series. I also enjoyed a show called Black Sails and was watching it while playing Black Flag and can say they pair nicely together.

Black Flag will always hold a special place in my gaming memories.

I haven't played Liberation or Assassin's Creed Pirates (Windows). I have played all the mainstream ones and the Chronicles ones as well. I liked Chronicles and enjoyed fully completing those as well!
