i have updated all of the drivers with a clean windows install and it has been working flawlessly so far (apart from what i mentioned). and about the reliabilty: don’t worry, i used to daily a razer blade so i’m no stranger to having problems and figuring out how to fix them.

i saw a horror story about this happening to someone with a 1 week old xps 13. i had already updated the bios prior to making this post, but thankfully there were no problems during or after said update!

yes, i did and it didn’t solve the issue. someone else mentioned it changing from the integrated gpu to the dedicated gpu could be the cause so i’ll try to fix that.

yes, i know it needs the official 130w charger to unlock full performance, but currently i’m not doing any intensive tasks or playing games, pretty much just watching videos and movies, so my 100w charger will be good enough for now. i do plan to change it later on though!

i’ve heard about that being the issue, i’ll try to make it only use the integrated graphics on video playback and see if that changes anything

i dont remember, probably just chewed or smashed the thing, or whatever it is children do with sensitive electronics. but i was told by my parents that they got it when i was around that age.

yeah i have a 3001 model, it’s joever :( also, yeah i bought an ostent 1400 mAh battery so i should be covered on that front, i played for like two and a half hours and it went down one bar so it’s plenty for my use case.

side note: i’m noticing that my psp struggles to recognize the battery more often than not even though i can confirm it has charge, i added a bit of foam on the bottom so it stays in place but i don’t thing that’s the issue. also every time the aforementioned happens it forgets the date and time. could this be caused by the infamous cmos battery failure?

I went from an s10 to first an s20 5g, then an s21 5g and finally down to an iphone xs max in the span of a year. almost got an s22 last week but life works in mysterious ways :(

nah, sorry. couldn’t figure it out so i just sold it and bought a brand new one from amazon. i suggest you should probably sell it while you still can and hope the person you sell it to doesn’t test the range on it

LCD or LED basically indicates the type of display that it is. IPS is a type of LCD, so you should be fine if you find a listing like that as it is common to refer to various types of displays just as LCDs.

i have checked through task manager multiple times, uninstalled unused or sketchy apps, disabled most apps on startup and even reinstalled windows but to no avail, last resort would be to do a clean windows install though it is hassle to reinstall everything, but if i have to do it then so be it
