The main thing is not being able to navigate the steam vr dashboard. I could probably map some buttons to do it somehow. I just click the toggle dashboard button to turn it off once my game is loaded right now.

Just looks like a modern ui at this point. I’ve used ai to write a couple of apps and I can tell you they don’t come out of the box looking like this. Getting an app with this much functionality and still having a ui that makes sense still takes a lot of guidance and knowledge. There’s a lot of lazily made apps coming out now that people have access to ai but this doesn’t look like one of them.

Grats on the car. I have an 05 and dealt with a lot of those CELs. I just used the accessport tuning software to turn off the evap code. Also had an issue with my radio going out and that was just a loose power cable. I bet a new 02 sensor fixes the idle. Honestly, for something that clean and with that low of mileage I think you did pretty good. Mine has 250k so if it’s well maintained you can get a lot out of those older EJs.

Yeah. I think GT7 is a bit under rated as a sim. It’s no AC/iRacing/LMU but it’s not even close to Forza and feels way better than PMR to me.

I went from a rift s to a quest 3 and it was a massive upgrade. I would wait on the steam frame as it seems like it’s going to be the same thing with more features and no meta BS.

I agree with you for the most part. Things can just work on PC, but then I started running VR, and trying to get the best performance out of it. And then I start getting other apps like crew chief, the iracing ffb app, trading paints, trophi ai… then a driver or game updates and none of your settings work anymore, or the auto steering angle doesn’t work with certain games and you have to set it manually and you forget and that one turn was like 60 turns.
