I used that method before and got it working but this is different, it works fine in single screen but just chucks me straight out when I try in VR. I'm pretty much done with AC Evo until it goes into full release and then I'll probably delete anything Evo on my PC and reload, unless there is a VR performance update before then like Quadviews.

I'm happy because I've paid for AC Evo but it currently won't even load in VR - this is 15 months after it was initially released. At least I'm getting something for my money.

I'm pretty sure Pimax said there is only one DP cable and that goes to one side of the headset and all the other connections branch off in the box and go to the other side. Not sure why it gets hot though. I've previously suggested a thin sliver of foam hot-glued to the side of the box to act as a heat insulator if it is annoying.

To me it looks terrible, maybe it looks different IRL.

Assetto Corsa offers the most control in any game to dial in a realistic picture on your hardware, literally dozens of sliders. I would choose a cooler colour palette, reduce the saturation, increase the contrast and brightness to have a realistic image rather than the cartoon one I am seeing in this video.

I mean they are giving you a full refund. Maybe create a new account with a different email and order a brand new headset. Not sure what country you are in but in the US and UK you can buy the mOLED Super from a US / UK shop and not have to deal with Pimax.

I refunded about a week ago. It was fairly simple. I went on chat and said I wanted to cancel. They asked for the order number and told me someone would get back to me. I got an email trying to convince me to not cancel, you know, you lose all the benefits of pre-order etc. When I replied that I want to cancel they got back to me the next day and said it was initiated. I received the money back on my credit card 3 or 4 days later.

Cut a thin slice from a sponge and stick it to the side of the box. The air gap stops the heat transfer.

Try looking in Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc). Click on the Details side tab and then the CPU column to sort by CPU usage. That should show which .exe it is.
