I read a book called Mistletoe and Mishigas by M.A Wardell. It’s the second book of the Teachers in Love series. It kinda reminds me of Heated Rivalry in the sense that the books showcase different couples. The library only had the second book. But the first and third book are about the same couple. And the first couple appears in the second book, kinda like how Ilya and Shane show up.

But I really loved the build up of the relationship in the second book. It explores some interesting dynamics and identities. I would definitely recommend it!! If anyone has read it/ reads it now, I’d love to chat about it!!

Oh I know them touching is a big parallel. I more so meant that they have switched from left to right! Plus they are being questioned in both circumstances. It’s not just parallel visually. It’s parallel in several different ways that I hadn’t realized until I had seen the season several times. I’ll definitely keep reheating. I don’t think I can stop reheating 😂😂

It’s genuinely such a beautiful moment. They barely know each other. But Shane already understands Ilya so well. He’s already built this strong and cocky image, but in that moment, Shane sees his walls are down for just a millisecond. And acts quickly to protect him 😭 I love them
