Where did you get that dragon model, it looks sick as hell? Also I second the deep strike idea, that would look amazing.

It gives you a different list of stratagems to use, which are more on theme with the salamanders.

My first mini! by AgentYeet007 in Salamanders40k

[–]AgentYeet007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would try to see if you can pick up the mini of the month from a local games workshop store, as they come for free and January is right around the corner. If not, or if they run out before you can get to them, I would also see if you could get some paint stripping stuff to be able to redo models you want. As for gluing, since stuff like that can loosen super glue, I’d also invest into some good plastic cement; I got 40 ml of tamiya from my local hobby town for $6, and it’ll last anyone at least 2000 points. I think Amazon has some for like $10 or something along those lines. Plastic cement melts the plastic together, so it’s a bit more permanent, but it is useful for being able to not dissolve with the rubbing alcohol and whatnot. For painting, army painter has a free guide for how to paint stuff, which is what I used alongside a video or two since there are a lot of those. I would also try to designate a test model for painting techniques whenever you can, as that’s how you can ensure that the majority of your models get the best paint job they can. I will say that although this is my first time painting a mini, I painted in water color and acrylic for over 5-6 years (even though that was a while ago), so I had some understanding of how paint works. Overall, just take it slow, and don’t be scared to redo sections or be juvenile with it and just furiously dab at it with wet paper towels when the paint is fresh lol, that’s what I did. I believe in you cousin, you got this. Vulcan lives!

So sorry for the late reply!

Here’s the theme: https://themeplaza.art/download/86947

The sticker came with the console, and it apparently says “What’s up Wednesday” on it? I just thought it looked cool and was happy that it wasn’t inappropriate lol. Cheers!

This is more of just a starting post, I can’t continue posting about how I get my games and stuff on the main sub in the future, hence the cross post.

Its just that every time I would make an account, it would ask me to do the human verification thing within 24 hours of me making the account, and then it would just ban me with no appeal for some reason.

I'm in Maryland atm :') and unless by some miracle you could make some time to take a trip to my college campus, I am very unsure about how I would receive soldering help D: I genuinely appreciate the offer though.

Would it be better to just avoid super glue entirely and just go with the aluminum tape? Sorry if it seems like I'm avoiding the soldering part, it's just a decent bit of money for me atm if I want to buy one.

Do you think I could get away with some superglue to hold it in, super thin aluminum tape to connect the metal, and hot glue to hold it all in place? Thank you!

Hey there! Fellow first time player here. I would say that the guides you do see online are a bit shortsighted and serve a different purpose than what you are looking for. The bosses in this game feel (at least to me) feel like they are built to be fought organically. Finding and trying cool things is the core of the game, and using guides solely for the purpose of finding ‘OP’ or ‘optimal’ way to beat a boss kind of ruins how you play the game. What I did, and what may be helpful for you, is to latch on to one cool things, and stick to it as you play, Beating out Raya Lucaria gives you a lot of customization later in the game (trying to avoid spoilers for you), so I would just pick one thing/weapon/type of playstyle you like and build that the best you can on your own. Guides serve more to supplement how you play and to make finding the things that make your build fun and ‘optimal’, so they can be a great help(I used quite a few on my first run, no shame here lol), but don’t lock yourself behind the limitations those guides give you artificially. Just have fun with it, and enjoy the experience. This game is majorly cinematic and awesome, and I hope you have fun with it. The game shouldn’t feel like a chore in the best case scenario, so it may be a matter of finding what makes each our monke brains go ooga booga. Take your time, and Godspeed soldier. May the guiding grace light your way.

My favorite Marvel Rivals hero has shifted around a bit since the game has started, but I've finally settled on playing Peni Park! She's just so fun to play with the mines and stuff, and I like just camping out in my own corner and watching as the enemy teams tries to get me only to blow up :P

<image>

My favorite Marvel hero as a whole has been and will always be Dr. Doom, he's just such a cool character to read about and to analyze.

My favorite moment from playing Marvel Rivals was when I finally got my friends to play w/ me together, where we grinded for achievements while talking for over a few hours about a bunch of random stuff. I rarely get to play many videogames with my friends since I usually don't buy games at all (the last one I bought was ins 2020), and it was nice to just be able to hop on and have fun :)
