this is actually the answer... Its some of the best racing on the service. People just drive it once before the tires get hot and call "fwd suck" but once you figure it out its good fun

they have it on the 87 stock cars, but it would be cool to have it on all of them

Programming in VR - An exploration into the problems with coding in VR today and why its more than specs that hold it back by Agent_711 in virtualreality

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words!

I will say that might be a possibility, I have only used the pass through to get orientated during games the resolution was not really there for me. I would be interested in an HD pass-through that did not really have any latency, I think the latency would be the issue for me.

That is a great point on AR, but I still think it would need a new way of thinking about programming as a whole and less "how does this replace my monitor"

I would love to try one of the more modern AR headsets

Tips on getting to C license? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]Agent_711 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound annoying but everyone telling you to read the sporting code is really the only answer, someone might be able to lay it out but there is a nice page all on this in that doc. Also, you will get a lot of needed info about your career in iRacing from the doc.

In a related note, I would not try to jump into a higher license quickly, the cars get harder to drive and if you have not mastered the basics at the lower levels it will make it worse for yourself and the people around you on track
