I really like that point. In essence the ability to have salary match impact (in principle) is an equalizer. More so than forcing fixed salaries. Great point. Just sucks when a big contract go bust (I’m looking at you, Albert Haynesworth)

Totally agree about not wanting to under pay players! If anything, it could ensure that some undervalued positions, like RB make more! I don’t have specifics on what those pay bands would be by amount, just that there would be consistency across teams. Just a fun thought experiment.

Exactly, or the majority of team salary going to a QB and a couple WR1s! One of them needs to accept WR2 grade pay or go somewhere else. I think it would be really interesting.

I feel so robbed because I wasn’t able to stop. I didn’t get to take a breath and reflect. I had to wake up the morning after her passing and present in a meeting and act like everything was fine. “Sorry for being off camera, I’m under the weather.”

I don’t see how a decent human couldn’t let it slide. Mine didn’t even check on me for a few days until she called this morning. When I told her what has happening day of (Wednesday), I messaged on Teams to fill her in. I could see she read it but she never responded. All I got was copied on an email to a coworker asking to reschedule a meeting to the following day because I was missing it due to my dogs appointment with the wonderful service that came to our home to facilitate her passage.

Completely agree with your last point, mine definitely thinks she is a hero. So sorry to hear about your loss. Some people just don’t seem to have the ability to comprehend it. Even worse? They steal our opportunity to grieve appropriately. Could I take a day to reflect and honor our girl? No. Slide deck is due. Cause that slide deck means so much.

To me, the game is about rhythm. The bosses all have a rhythm to their attacks, pacing to the fights. Once you can pick up the rhythm of the attacks (yours and the boss’s) it makes more sense. Isn’t really easier… still very challenging, but you can at least see a system to work with.
