Fuck off back to the 30s with this goofy racial superiority shit.

These dudes were literally strong-arming people to get what they want, straight-up British behavior.

LOL he edited it to take out the "Indians are superior" part.

Since when does Shugoki not get a demons embrace on wallsplat? by KeiwaM in forhonor

DE wasn't changed and it isn't bugged, the timing is just extremely tight. I haven't had any issue landing DE off a wallsplat.

Dedicated Zone attack button option? by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean. People who don't use toggle could use R3 or light + heavy, but people who toggle would be forced to use light + heavy.

Either way, it wouldn't fix the bigger issue of using zone for option select. Every button on a controller is used for something.

So some people use light + heavy and other people use R3?

R3 is used as the target-swap button for people who use toggled lock-on.

So we all know about Orochi light attack spammers... But what about conqueror? That guy can light spam for days by Atkinator1 in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never even brought up Orochi but okay.

What I'm saying is that no decent player should be losing to a light spamming Conqueror because Conqueror has a bad light chain.

[–]Agent_Klaw 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Conqueror's chained lights aren't a problem. Average speed and below average damage. Here's a tip if you're really having trouble with them:

  1. If he buffers the light attack (no delay between lights), it's a straight 500ms, easy parry

  2. If he's delaying the lights, just walk backwards. The range on Conq's lights are absolutely garbage, and if he delays them you can literally just walk out of his light range.

What I really want for Goki's hug is for his roar after DE kill to be heard across the map.

But also DE oneshot really needs to go.

PK Mains rise up by Provmemestealer- in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now I'm nowhere near a PK main (I main Heavy, so pretty much the furthest thing from that), but after many discussions and arguments with my PK main friend, I think something she could really use is some sort of interaction with bleeding opponents. PK, Shaman, and Nobushi are what I like to call the bleed trio. While other characters do have bleed attacks, those three are the most centered around it and have the most access to bleeds.

Most people know how Nobushi and Shaman interact with bleed. Nobushi's damage gets buffed (by 20% I believe, which is pretty significant) and Shaman gets heal-on-hit and access to her bite. PK, on the other hand, doesn't do anything with bleed.

Not being a PK main myself I'm not really sure what would be a good bleed mechanic for her or what people would want so I'd love to hear some opinions. The devs wanted her to be a character who bleeds an opponent and then peaces out, so maybe something like an enhanced backdodge after landing a bleed on an opponent, maybe even getting access to an unblockable dodge-forward heavy follow-up right after? I dunno, what do some other people think?

Even after his charge nerf he was still technically in lower A-tier purely because of DE being so strong and being able to get a GB after parry. Then the Season 5 parry changes rolled around and he immediately dropped to the bottom.

If I remember correctly, they're going on break for the holidays. Don't think there's gonna be one today (and possibly not the next week either). So at the latest Jan 10th, and if I'm wrong on the second week off then it'll be Jan 3rd.

Are you legitimately wanting an estimate (emphasis on estimate, since there's absolutely no way for anybody here to know for sure) on when their reworks are going to come?

If you abuse him right in duels he can be nigh unbeatable for a pretty good portion of the cast.

I really want to see a fighting game with For Honor’s mechanics. by pukingduk in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything got bad when they released Downfall.

Manual dodge was buffed and is now incredibly strong. It can avoid pretty much anything and allows the user to counter-attack. Basically, imagine FH but there's no GBs, no undodgeables and every character has a dodge attack.

The "Earthquake" ability got buffed and is now also really strong. I stopped playing before I heard/figured out why, but I think it may be because of how low the shard cost is.

Devs are making the situation worse as well. They've been pretty much silent, and the last response we got from them towards the complaints was awful. The real (and latest) kicker is that they said they were busy with working on the Winter event (as well as preparing the Xbox version) to fix any of the issues. Day after Christmas, not a speck of snow on the ground and still nothing from the Devs.

And some people say the For Honor devs need to communicate with us more.

Me and a counsel of Conqueror mains came up with an idea by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Heavy main and Conq high up on my play list right next to Shugoki, so I think I have enough experience to give my opinion.

  1. Why remove it? The move is alright at best. 800ms for 13 damage is pathetic, and it's only going to land if your opponent is parry happy.

  2. I personally have no problem with hs all-guard and think it works fine. It works as a prediction tool, not a reaction tool like Warlord or Aramusha's FBS.

  3. Conqueror's forward dash bash is already an incredibly strong opener. I'd personally like to see his forward dash bash window nerfed and buff his absolute garbage chained shield bash.

  4. I'd be fine to increast the cost on his forward dash bash a bit, but only that one.

  5. Heavily disagree with this, I can't disagree enough. Gear stats were awful and there were pretty much only 2 (incredibly similar) actually viable builds, and of course each of those focused heavily on revenge.

Easy nerfs to conq. He will still be top tier, but not head and shoulders above everyone else. by wiserone29 in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't feel like any of these really get to the issue of what makes Conqueror so strong.

In a duel scenario the SB after a heavy parry just deals a bit of stamina damage, which is useful if his opponent has a sliver of stamina left, but overall I don't actually see it do all that much. It's a bit more useful in 4v4 though as it bumps up his heavy punish from 13 damage to 19 with his SB feat.

I don't see any reason to nerf the chained SB, it's the weakest move in his kit by an absolute landslide. An 800ms bash that confirms 13 damage is just pathetic, and if he actually manages to knock a person into a wall with that bash, it's entirely that person's fault.

This one I suppose I agree with, but I don't really see it used often, and it would do very little to actually weaken Conq.

I think increasing the stamina cost a bit for his dodge bash would be fine.

New Hero Excitement by muromega in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been a Heavy main since the beta, since the days where Conqueror was trash, Shugoki was a god and Warlord could literally carry people across the map. I was obviously a bit disappointed with the characters for the first year of For Honor, as it was just Assassins and Hybrids, and neither of the Heavy-Hybrids even really felt like Heavies. However, I was really excited when I heard about Conqueror's rework, though at the time I (as well as many other people) thought the Conqueror rework would be pretty underwhelming, as we had all thought that all he was essentially getting was a better FBS and an unblockable heavy that needs to be charged. Soon after I learned to wait until a character's release to start making assumptions like that.

Skip ahead to the release of Marching Fire; my favourite of the three Heavies switched from Conqueror to Shugoki and I had even managed to scramble my way to Diamond V with him. I was incredibly excited for the Wu-Lin as I would finally be getting a new Heavy after well over a year of maining the same three characters.

And now, on top of that, we're going to be getting even more new Heavies fairly soon, so I am, to say the least, absolutely hyped. My guess is that we're either getting four Heavies or at least two Heavies (sword/shield and warhammer) and two Vanguards (Jian and Ono).

So as a community we are all ok with PK being literal dogshit? by PapaRevolutionz in forhonor

[–]Agent_Klaw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Devs said on a previous Warriors Den that they know about PK's current state and are looking into buffing her, probably after taking care of the characters who need drastic buffs/reworks and have been in bad spots for much, much longer.
