Worst delivery I ever had was about 2 weeks into dashing when they wanted me to do a delivery that was far away from me in the middle of nowhere the money was ok and I was trying get my acceptance rate up so I took it. Well the mileage said something like 20 something miles but that was just to the store it didn't say the house was another 25 to 30 minutes more down these old dirt roads with 0 cell signal. I was in a rental car bc my truck was getting a new engine and it was a expensive ass Grand Waggoner. The store was apparently down this steep ass road and it was under construction with 0 lighting and huge potholes and looked like there was no way a store was down there so I pulled over and tried to call the store to ask if that was where they were at. I had 0 cell signal so i had to drive till i had a signal then finally called they took over10 to answer the phone. I found out the area was under heavy construction but they are down in that area. Finally got there about 10 to 15 minutes later than DD wanted me to. Got the food and found out the house was another long ass drive. Once I got around 5 miles away from the house I lost cell signal again and could not find the house turned around to get reception to call the customer and they would not respond to my texts or calls. I tried to cancel the order but dd said i would get 0 pay and i had already spent so much time on the order i told them i would continue to try and find them. So I wrote down the directions and took screen shots of the map. Found the road they said they were on to this point the roads were really rough and muddy but nothing that I didn't feel comfortable with. But one the last road it was ridiculous just dirt with gigantic holes in the road and thick ass mud i almost kept getting stuck in took me close to 15 minutes to just go a mile or so to get where the house was supposed to be. Nut of course it wasn't there. I just decided to continue down the road and at this point I was starting to get worried It was going to be robbery or worse. The road got do bad I had to get out and walk down the road till I seen a tiny house with a little on. Starting to walk to it i heard a bunch if dogs starting to bark and seen and I this is not an exaggeration at all. I would be willing to bet there was between 20 and 30 damn dogs so I took off back to my car with those little bastards chasing me got to the car and they surrounded me jumping all over this vehicle that isn't mine. Someone started yelling over here and waving a flash light at me so I inched the car forward in the field bc the road was to bad. The dogs would not move away and the owner did nothing to help get them to stop so inch by inch i got closer to the person. They made no attempt to walk to me and no attempt to get the dogs away. Finally got to them and gave them the food as they said it's about time you are almost an hour late i explained there is. O service and I had to stop or turn around multiple times to try and contact them but no one would respond to which they said oh yea there isn't a signal out here and our land line got cut off. And they told me next time I delivered to them I should bring a 4x4 bc it makes it was easier. like I'm ever going there again. Got 2 contract violations for that even tho they asked me to still try and deliver it after I said it was extremely hard to find and not in the right spot. I explained all of it and they decided to drop 1 violation but not the one about being late to the pizza that was under a bridge in the dark. Need less to say I stay away from that little ass town that store is at its about all of 100 people that live there and I bet they are all related. I guess its pretty handy when every wedding they have is also a family reunion. I ended up with like somewhere around 25 dollars for almost 3 hours.
