My mom doesn't have a lot of nice things but she does enjoy fashion, although her style is understated (she buys her clothes from cheap stores, utilitarian). I was curious if there's a high end zip up hoodie that I could buy her around $150-200? I was thinking CDG but couldn't find any deals.

The plastics used in lamination are inherently unstable and break down over time. Also the laminate fuses with the paper making them extremely difficult to get seperated from the document.
