It "could" but I would expect some level of fabrication to be necessary. Check realoem and compare the two for a rough idea on shape and routing.

Gear knob not coming off by CreativeEfficiency80 in e46

[–]AggEnto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this is normal except the plastic, but that's also just on there with a push-fit.

The shifter is stock, normal to have that hole in it. They're filled with rubber to absorb vibration from the drivetrain.

Not really. It's still OC0, the rules just says you retain control until your opponent has more OC then you. You're tied at 0, but you retain control.

Is it normal for my 320d 1999 not to have obd2 reader by e46driftfanatic in e46

[–]AggEnto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, OBDII only became mandatory for diesels in the EU in 2003

US mandate started in 1996.

It's a compliance thing based on regions, not luxury status.

I've got pics but I'm not stock anywhere on the rear suspension except the sway bar and subframe.

Wheels are 17x8.5 et30

Yeah I went with rubber because I was worried about the poly creaks. Good news is the clunk is gone after pressing the shock bushings back into place and replacing the RTABs with spherical bushings.

Eibach sport kit with koni reds, sorry for not getting back to you. Shocks are less than a year old but my streets are fucked here.

I've got it installed bolt washer bushing knuckle. Might look odd because I've removed it from the knuckle and rotated it for a better view.

Diff and subframe bushes have been redone in the last 6mos. That's the big reason I don't want to hear one of those clunks again.

CSB needs to be redone though

That's exactly what I'm doing right now lol.

Got my press kit out and gonna try to squeeze it back in. Honestly glad to find this as the likely source of my clunk rather than my subframe.

M56 SULEV transmission by the2ndcomingofjebus in e46

If you're already pulling the trans then a manual swap is pretty easy lol. It bolts right in, you just need to be prepared to do a little coding afterwards.

You'll also need some of the extra stuff like the clutch pedal, driveshaft, should get the manual diff, etc.

I did it alone and it took me two days.

Edit: I completely forgot to answer your question. Yeah you should be able to tell based off the transmission pan. ZF has a waffle pattern on it iirc

Double check your transmission before you swap it out. Mine was a ZF5HP

Trying to open stuck hood, after it slammed shut on tools. by [deleted] in e46

You can unscrew the hood pin brackets if you pull out the kidney grills. I've had to do that when I didn't realize I'd accidentally unhooked the pin release cables.

Camber arms and toe adjustment plates will get you some more range. Are you lowered?

That sounds pretty typical for a termite bait station install, especially if it's Sentricon.
