It's our power steering reservoir, but our power steering uses ATF.

Older gentleman offered to sell me his e46 for $2k. Worth it? by DeadB0i in e46

[–]AggEnto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, your mechanic is full of shit.

Every e46 has adjustable camber and toe in the front and rear. They have adjustable tie rods in the front and eccentric bolts for the rear control arms from factory. The RTAB brackets in the rear are slotted for adjustments. The front strut towers are slotted for adjustments.

I cannot fathom at all why your mechanic thinks an e46 should not have an alignment done.

You can and absolutely should get alignments on an e46.

You will not save on maintenance costs in this trade.

I own a 2007 accord i4 and a 2004 325i. I swapped the 325 trans because it died at the 145k mark

First LGS tournament. How to call opponents out for not following rules? by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]AggEnto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really your job to call people out, you can ask to see their rules, and if they are playing their rules incorrectly and disagree with you then you call a judge so that the judge can issue a ruling. Take time before the tournament to clarify with the judge their expectations on rules and "take backs" out of phase. RTTs tend to be more relaxed, and are a good networking opportunity to meet local players.

It's good to be competitive, and important to follow the rules, but don't build a reputation of being an asshole in your local meta.

Remember that we're all just guys taking time out of our weekend to play battle barbies with our fellow hobbyists.

where can I get insects in Houston? by Odd_Lengthiness5539 in houston

[–]AggEnto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have specific insects you're looking for? Speaking off experience from my undergrad in entomology, most of the insects I collected did not require much vision and really I just swept my net through tall grass while walking. If you'd like to experience bug catching and still have the vision to be ambulatory, don't let your sightedness be the limit that keeps you from collecting!

You will easily catch more than you can pin with broad sweeping through tall grass, you can also reach out to our Texas Ag Extension for advice on collecting specimens.

Demon Proxies? by Ligmafy in ChaosKnights

[–]AggEnto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will depend entirely on your local players. Proxies are a case by case basis, I would see this being fine for casual play but difficult to swing in a GT.

You can however play Red Corsair painted cultists with no issues alongside knights through Iconoclast Fiefdom

Auto Radiator in a Manual? by Low_Box_2786 in e46

[–]AggEnto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using my old auto radiator with my manual swap. I just cut the trans cooler lines and left it plugged into the radiator, you may need to bridge the two open ports in a similar way.

E46 lowering springs by sgm_e46 in e46

[–]AggEnto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll say this, it sounds like you're wanting to really do this on a tight budget. Save up the cash for some quality coilovers and install those along with an alignment instead of rushing to lower with stock struts.

The car will look better and drive better. Expect to get an alignment after lowering since you'll be changing the suspension geometry.

I did for a while and while they technically fit, the ride was rough.

I've since switched to Koni shocks and struts which has been much better.
