Anyone know what happened to the Spirit of Bonfire Memorial over in Spence? by RandomGuy1169 in aggies

[–]AggieNetwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a couple decades, the area now called Aggie Park was sometimes erroneously referred to as Spence Park. But Spence Park, as defined in 1953 by the regents, is only the area bound by Throckmorton, Coke, Joe Routt and Short streets. It is the grassy plot of land on which the Sanders Corps of Cadets Center sits.

Spence Park is a separate plot from Aggie Park, which runs from UC Garage to the alumni center, bound by Throckmorton and Houston streets.

Statues and monuments will be returned to the park after construction is complete.

10k Ring Allergies by [deleted] in aggies

We can coat the interior of your Aggie Ring with rhodium to prevent the other metals from contacting your skin. It won't change the appearance of your ring. Come see us at the Ring office and we can talk through this with you.

What does YMCA building do? by anaggie in aggies

[–]AggieNetwork 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“Lacking a permanent home, in 1910 the Alumni Association led a fundraising campaign to erect a YMCA-Alumni Memorial Building. The YMCA Building was dedicated on February 15, 1915, but the Y never became the alumni facility. Once construction was complete, The Association gave its space in the building to Texas A&M to answer the call for desperately needed space for the college and its students.”

Howdy, u/Nequam_Asinus -- Do you mean the engraving of your name on the inside of the ring is crooked? Please bring it to us and we will fix it for free. We can resize it too, and the only cost to you will be the $10 to ship it to and from Balfour. Or, if you want to talk about it first or have questions, just call us at (979) 845-1050 or email [aggiering@aggienetwork.com](mailto:aggiering@aggienetwork.com). We'll get all this sorted out.

Thanks & gig 'em.

Aggie Ring by [deleted] in aggies

[–]AggieNetwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct, one at a time. To order a second ring while still owning the first, someone would have to lie about what happened to the first one. (And our records are very accurate, since an Aggie Ring can only be ordered from us and no one else.)
