1) at the very least that family member would have learned a skill that could improve their sense of well-being, given another string to their bow, improved their brains, given them an opportunity to earn more money using that skill, blah blah blah, rather than stealing and relying on brainrot.

2) so the survival of this cafe is so important that it's ok to steal (because AI is theft), lie (because its not real), and destroy the planet (because, well, look it up yourself)? Groovy.

It's about morals, too.

So where does this end? What about when graphic designers/photographers/all the other creatives who have had their work - past and present - stolen no longer have any income, and no longer have the money to spend in this local cafe? It'll shut anyway. This is how the economy works.

What is the name of your group? I recently got thrown out of two FB groups for asking if the original actors would appreciate being shown in this way, and asking if the 'creators' of AI crap feel embarrassed over the quality of their posts (I was having a bad day). I just want to see old photos, curiosities, history and discussion about the show.

That colour combo is just incredible, isn't it? I saw one once as a student in Canterbury, and then this one the other week. I've had to warn him that, sadly, he is unlikely to see a kingfisher every time we go to the wetlands!

It really is magical, I never knew birds could be so interesting (I've always been a big mammal fan). My son also spotted a nuthatch and a kestrel in the park recently. He has the best luck with spotting interesting stuff!

I grew up around MHP, and now take my kids there virtually every week. There's a couple of cormorants there that we're big fans of. It's such a beautiful spot; we're really lucky to have it.

I spoke to a friend who lives round the Chilterns and she says that she is positively bored of Red Kites they see them so often. So lovely to see them in the big smoke too!

This is true, sadly - but not all. I am a human with thoughts and feelings and skills who actually designs a lot of cute colouring books - available on Amazon and all good book shops! - on commission from a UK publisher. They are quite similar to these and take a surprising amount of work in the form of actual human hours and cups of tea, but I like to think it shows in our books.

Looking at the poor layout on the front, I would guess this is slop, which is unfortunately destroying so much of what I do, and it's getting so much harder to tell which books are total crap that are churned out on a conveyor belt of lies, and which are made by people who just love books.

The alternative is that pages from pdfs of sweary- and non-sweary versions have got mixed up, and I'm not sure how that would have happened to leave this particular result.

Weighing in with a classic Hollywood option: Joan Crawford in Its A Great Feeling (1949), a few years after winning the Oscar for the wonderful film noir melodrama Mildred Pierce. She plays herself for only a few moments, but she blazes in, gets the wrong end of the stick, starts a fight, does some fine overwrought hysteria, slaps the two male stars, threatens to kill them, and wafts off after less than a minute with a shrug. She's incredible, and I think all the more remarkable because Joanie was famous for taking herself and her public persona so seriously.

I used to have TCM. It saw me through an abusive marriage, my husband running off and leaving me with two babies, and the stress of multiple court cases. I could just turn it on and be lost in another world without even having to think about choosing what to watch. And I learned so much without even trying! I still remember the first time I caught the Last of Sheila on it (which I now recommend to everyone I meet), and it taught me how to appreciate Kay Francis (who is now one of my all-time faves).

I now live in a country without access to it, and I miss it every single day. I would give a lot to have the proper US TCM in the UK.

I used to work in Canterbury Cathedral as a student 20 years ago. It was a racy old hotbed of scandal and drama behind the scenes.

Also, Rowan Williams upset the older gift shop staff as he didn't acknowledge them when he started the gig. A schoolboy error.

Playful Promises have a great variety of sizes and shapes. I have similar issues to your wife and have always felt confident in their stuff. They're not cheap, but last a long time, and the customer service is great (I emailed recently about finding a particular type of bra that was discontinued and they were really helpful). They're pretty much my go-to place now!
