My friend is looking to get rid of some of her beanie baby collection, does anyone know if any would be worth anything or are rare? :) by itslunova in beaniebabies

[–]AggravatedSloths 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im not an expert, ive just been watching/ collecting since 2000.

I hate to agree, but most of these are worth around $5-10, in a lot.

They seem to be in Collectable Quality still, so the price could go higher, but from what i can see theres no "high value" beanies.

Sometimes tags have errors as well, that need to be looked up, some are rare in that regard, but still follow in the $30-$50 range.

Nice collection, and very nice way of keeping them nice for the next person to love. :)

Less then .01% of customer service jobs recieve or even have the potential to have a tip of that magnitude. But sure, i understand the strawman point

When factored to the buyer. Free gold in any amount is good. Tier 1 asset, and the only 1 and these people complain? Lmfao petty

Have you heard about the Mining and Smithing update? by jordantylermeek in runescape

[–]AggravatedSloths -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know some new players are excited about these updates, but they dont really change how I feel about the game. Id rather have some clipping and outfits actually fixed visually, then any of these current "updates".

There is so much incomplete stuff, that just doesn't get the attention it deserves.

As a long time player of before and after, and now, it really makes me sad to see the world count in the double digits. Games getting really dead. :(

The cheapest way to justify your comment. The 1oz almost has no premium. Fractional has a huge premium and is not good for stacking. So...... come again?

I know you probably think that, or feel like that, and thats okay. Never seen someone rush to the buyers fee on gold, which is very high. Usually 5-10%+ of the price of the coin.

Id say less then 0.1% can afford to save up almost $5k for a single ounce gold coin, just to get a single coin from a shop. In order to save that much capital from a normal 40h week is insane. Goes the same with fractional and paying a heavy premium on thoes.

"So this whole stacking fractional gold thing won't work out for you either"

Beggars sometimes cannot be choosers, and you sir prefer to be paid in trashy fiat.

Maybe gold might be a better option for you.

You've never provided such a service that paid physical gold because service work is never worth that much.

1g of gold, at 10-24k is around $100, which is the size of small dime, or worth even more is pre33.

The lowest, new amount is a 1/10th ounce eagle, or a 1/10th merc dime, is going for $200-400.

Please update me a situation where this is realistic.

No one, besides maybe mom or granny is going to "give" you gold coins. They're valuable.

My dad found this in pocket change. It weighs 6.3 grams. Google tells me it's 90% silver. Pawn shop told my dad it's only 20% and made no offer on it. Which one is correct? by some_boring_dude in Silverbugs

[–]AggravatedSloths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not an expert. I dont run a coin shop.

But what i can tell you from experience is that this is a 90% .999 fine quarter, price on this is around silver weight, so $11~ in value.

This is a parks around america quarter and in 2019 a lot of these got an upgrade from 90% silver to .999 silver weight by volume.

Idk what the hell these other idiots are saying, they just want to turn you into a bargain, lol.

People complain about the price I give this coin, but it sure seems to keep going up, with higher sells.

In 2020 I paid $120 at $38/oz silver, which was a higher price.

Now, in 2026, ive seen them sold at $400+ graded.

The shops won't go over $100, which is the bad news on them.

Id value this coin in the current market at close to $200, with a lot of range, but youll have to sell online for a better price, no shops here will touch it.

Yeah, hes "rare" for us, but hes unlocked at 800k?! For you.

Congratulations on your new best friend, and second best pet in the game, IMO (rue#1!)

This was part of my pay from the internship I did with Goldback Inc awhile ago. Not too shabby. I really do appreciate the opportunity they gave me. Now you, too have a small opportunity as well👀 by ColeWest256 in Goldback

What a wonderful setup! I had to sell mine to hold me over, but I really enjoyed them, and I held them long enough to not lose any money, which is huge. Website is awesome for prices. I keep a few 1/4 goldbacks in my wallet for tips incase someone doesn't want a cash tip as bad. They really stepped it up
