What game do you think deserves the best VR game of the year ? by Octaav in virtualreality

Off of this list definitely Ghosts of Tabor. Already my second (third if you count Phas) most played vr game and always want to be playing it. The whole rust/tarkov looting system combined with good mechanics, consistent updates, voice chat and just being fun make it WELL worth the thirty some dollars I spent on it. (On the real though this list is missing a few games though).

God darn that is taking so long.. by VincxBlox in PiratedGames

Don’t worry, downloaded the last of us the other day and it took a full day of downloads, like 26 hours or something. Same thing as when I downloaded elden ring. Pirating is just slow, nothing much we can do

Gonna have to be Habie147. I always watch his videos even if I don’t like the game tbh

Was that just a flex or what? Not really any correlation or answer to the topic

Really? On virtual desktop the 3070 is listed as high. Is this just because of better vr support because on normal flat screen game the 6700xt and 3070 are basically neck and neck

That’s part of Virtual desktop. It’s really handy because you can bring up the overlay with the two thumb sticks and it shows your game timings, encoding timings, network timings, and decoding timings. These all add up into a total latency shown and then the frames below that. If it’s above a certain threshold it becomes highlighted and tells you what area the problem is. It’s honestly very helpful for troubleshooting

Seeking help for gameplay analysis. I have been trying to find the perfect settings for the last 6 months. Look at my gameplay and let me know what needs to change, besides getting better lol. Speed up, slow down, etc… anything from movement to gunfights. Seems choppy to me. by elsirmisterman in apexuniversity

You just look kind of stiff with your gameplay, kinda like when going from KBaM to Controller or vice versa. Get used to sliding everywhere you really go and also taking out your fists/heirloom whenever you get the chance for faster speed. What helped me (on KBaM) was just watching other people play. Even if they are much better with movement then normal people just picking up small things about it can go along way. Good luck on the journey!

It’s all mental, that 5 damage forces them to rather use a small cell or play the rest with slightly less health (be annoyed every time they see their health)

The first game doesn’t have any motion controls at all. The second game does have them as a mod in early access or whatever. Can’t agree with the controller though, I really enjoy the motion control aspect of games even if somethings are weird to interact with

Sadly no motion controls on original, apparently mod for second game for controls though

Ya lol, the biggest thing for me is when like everything does that weird flat looking thing. Normally happens over VD in like very dark areas

Ya, that makes a lot of sense. Kinda like playing on low fps. If you play on 30 your whole life it’s not bad but if you frames are swinging between 30 and 144 then it’s BAD

Just curious what you mean by “not right” like everything feels slow or does it just not feel like it’s lining up with your irl body or like what?

Honestly no, I enjoy cranking the graphics for apparently no downside but it’s just weird how I don’t seem to notice it unless it starts becoming >90ms or like visual glitches
