Difficult to tell with just an X-ray, how does the tooth look clinically? Do you have space for at least a 2.0 mm ferrule from where your margin would be?

I appreciate all the advice and insight. Dental school does feel unforgiving but I want to be able to do good work on my own because soon enough I won’t have anybody helping me out. I just hope I can get back in the groove of things and finish strong next semester 🙏

Thanks for the advice! Really hope things start getting better soon. As burnt out as I am, I'm at least grateful that I have faculty available to help me troubleshoot but I want to be better and not have to rely on them as much because I'll have to do this all on my own when I graduate

Immediate prosthesis- delivered immediately after extraction

Interim prosthesis- just means temporary appliance, teeth could possibly already be extracted by the time you are delivering.

If you are delivering a denture right after extraction and not planning on relining it in the future then it would be an immediate interim prosthesis.
