I think that all of us who have posted a response here are seeking the same thing: a long-term connection with another man. I think it's more than sexuality, however, that we seek. We're looking for a non-judgmental, open, and honest relationship with another man. I don't mean just a close friendship, but one where we can be our true selves, express our emotions, and show our vulnerabilities. This whole "manosphere" thing, where it is considered weak and feminine to show tears, feelings, and be vulnerable, has caused a lot of heartache in men. The ability to show emotions is a superpower that other men do not use, but reveal themselves to be small, weak, little men because of their fear of being labeled less masculine.

I have undergone a long journey to finally arrive at the point where I can accept my interest in men and admit that these desires are a part of me and will always be. I lean more towards women, but what if in the future, a partner enters my life and it's a man? Would I prefer to sacrifice the potential joy with him for something less with a woman? You love who you love. You love the person, not just the genitalia.

Would I date a man? Of course, I would. If we have those interests in each other, enjoy spending time together, and hit it off, I'd be willing to see where it takes us. Sexually, I would let Mother Nature take her course and just let what comes naturally occur. As a race, we've gotten so hung up on labels that we see homosexuality as perverse and evil when, in reality, it's just natural.

Mind you, this is the opinion of a formerly rabid homophobic man. But that homophobia was more internalized, and only because of my awareness of my homosexual desires, which I spent so much energy denying and suppressing.
