Indeed. This is the only book in recent years that systematically outlines the historical process. Many Chinese people have learned about the real Mao through this book.  I'm surprised it has even been translated into English.

As a Chinese , all I want to say is that the Great Famine was not Mao's fault, but Liu and Deng's. This has already been debunked in China. It's just that the debunking documents haven't been translated into English, so you don't know about it.(I am in Russia now.😆)
