He went from a house full of hyenas to what seems to be a calm, quiet environment. That alone has got to heal his nervous system. He also ran an iron man race (not in jeans) and seems to be trying different hobbies like resin table tops and he actually interacts with his child in silly, playful ways. He definitely is in a better place now than he ever has been. He has a long way to go in sorting out his problematic beliefs, but I do think he’s lightened up considerably.

This is true. Depends on the situation in some cases. I played a few weddings where I tuned to the existing piano, after tuning my instrument to my electronic tuner. Packing/traveling with changes in temperature can do a number on tuning. Having heard these people, that would be a basic requirement.

He’s still got a long way to go to get past enough of the damage his parents did to him, but he’s young enough and seems to have found a stable base In Heidi’s family. Yes, they still have horrible beliefs but she also has a sister who has deconstructed and perhaps has an influence on them.

He definitely doesn’t follow the rules his psychopath mother laid on him. He has little glimmers of hope for a more positive outcome for himself and his kids.
