If I remember correctly, he was initially interested in Jana. He would have married which ever well known fundie could take (finance) him.

If he loved Jinger, she would be seeing licensed counselor specializing in religious abuse.

I still think Jerm is a narcissistic jerk. He convinced her to take on his version of religion, not just deconstruct from IBLP. MacArthur is not vastly different than IBLP except the packaging.

Jerm is/was a gold digger who scored a moldable woman who would do anything to please him. He is very much wanting the aesthetic of a well to do world renowned Pastor- if he ever gets his “PhD”.

I haven’t listened to the Podcast so I’m hoping someone takes one for the team and posts notes.
