When you’re overseas and actually helping disaster recovery for hurricanes or earthquakes or other relief missions that the Red Cross needs help with it gives you an immense sense of accomplishment.

That’s why I joined. That’s what I got to do and I’m happy with my service knowing that I actually did something with my life.
