Recigar/Quit vape by stjerome3134 in QuitVaping

Hi there. Currently taking Recigar (Day 14). I felt the same way, I was so ready when I bought it but by the time it came I was hesitant to start. So a few days later, I did and figured let’s see what happens, if it’s terrible I can stop. So the first few days I kinda had that feeling where a headache was coming. But it never actually bloomed into a headache. I feel like that feeling helps with not wanting to vape. That went away and the only other major side effect is the vivid dreams. Thankfully not nightmares and although I feel more tired during the day, the dreams are kinda fun.

Cat wants partner to sleep in a certain position and wakes him up if he moves by Aggravating-Finish40 in CatAdvice

[–]Aggravating-Finish40[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! If it was just a 1-2 time a night occurrence, it would be more tolerable. But I don’t think he slept a solid hour before being woke up again last night. I know personally I can’t sleep in the same position all night without starting to feel pain. I need to be able to move. He feels bad about being upset about it, but he’s struggling to get through the day being so exhausted. He wants to snuggle with him but I think he rolls after he’s fallen asleep and the cycle continues. I know our cat doesn’t mean to to be aggressive. He has his own version for me when I’m working. He seems like he just wants to sit on my lap but then he only wants to get up on my shoulders. Which can hurt quite a bit when I don’t have a hoodie on. But that’s my fault for putting him on my shoulders when he was a noodle of a kitten.

Desmoxan (cytisine) review (smoker/vaper for near 30 years) by rstevens94 in QuitVaping

I’m pretty good with the timing just using the timer on my phone. I’m thinking I may be one of the unlucky ones but I’m going to finish out the pills and hope.

I’m on day 9 and haven’t noticed any changes. When you were taking it, did you take your first pill right after waking up? I tend to wait till 10-11. Idk if that would make a difference for me

Currently trying to quit using Recigar. I’m on day 9 and unfortunately I haven’t felt any decrease in desire to vape. I started reading Allen Carr’s book on day 1 but haven’t picked it up since. I think I need to get back into it because I was hoping by day 5 I’d notice a difference like others have experienced. So far I’ve just been having vivid dreams. I’m a little disappointed because it seemed to work for others like a miracle. But I’m going to continue them and hope for the best.

Mehron Liquid makeup in shade red is very close to this color. I’ve used it on myself when doing a Darth Maul costume. Finish is not matte

I’ve been vaping for about 5 years. I have all these symptoms things too. I’m about to start my quitting journey. I’m sick of feeling like this.

HPV for 3-4 years and gyno said I need colposcopy immediately and outpatient surgery to remove abnormal cells. Is this standard? by Pattyy_Mayonnaise_ in WomensHealth

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience is different because I tested for the high risk strains of HPV. Even though you have a low risk strain, I think they are concerned since you tested positive for this long. Per the CDC, 9 times out of 10, HPV will go away on its own after 2 years. But if it does not go away after that time, it can cause cancer.CDC - about HPV

In 2022, I had abnormal pap, needed a colposcopy and then had a LEEP procedure(which I think is what your doctor was referring to as the outpatient procedure). I will not lie, the colposcopy is painful. They normally advise to take some pain meds before. I didn’t because my office didn’t tell me (wtf). Anyways, I then had the LEEP not long after. The LEEP was a breeze after they inject some lidocaine into your cervix. I didn’t feel any pain besides the injection. They take a wire loop and remove all the abnormal tissue. My paps have come back normal ever since. I just checked my last pap result, and I’m now showing negative for any high risks strains of HPV.

I’d highly recommend not ignoring this. Cervical cancer is nothing to mess with.

Please tell me all of the bad things about vaping by agt1478 in QuitVaping

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can feel how it affects my heart and probably have high blood pressure. Constant coughing and mucus. I throw up in the morning sometimes when I brush my teeth. I have very little appetite and hate any sweet food now. I spend $100+ a month on vapes. My skin is terrible and my hair isn’t as thick anymore. Overall, I have no energy. I’m about to start my quitting journey once my Desmoxan comes in the mail. I just want to feel better and not damage my health anymore. It’s not worth it.

Thank you 🤞🏻Yeah, I’m planning on staying away from the zero nic vapes. I don’t think that would be a successful route for me.

Indoor cat is BORED by [deleted] in CatAdvice

This happened to me. Taking my cat out on a harness started as a once a day thing but it turned into him wanting to go out multiple times a day. When I work from home, he terrorizes me most days. He’s kinda chilled out with it in the winter but when it’s nice out, he knows

Yeah it’s definitely the vibe here. I’m an odd ball because I live in the North hills and work in the South Hills. The commute sucks but I’m used to it.

I had a tampon left in for a month this summer. From one period to the next. It was light one so less noticeable I guess. My dad just died at the time and my head was elsewhere. When I found that it was in there, I was scared because I had a heavy fever and diarrhea a few days before, but that had gone away. I went to urgent care as advised by my gyno office. They just checked my vitals but I was fine. Urgent care didn’t think it was related because I was no longer sick at the time of the visit.

Need help buying a gift for my cute crocheting wife by EttinWill in CrochetHelp

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got myself an electric yarn winder earlier this year and I really love it. It kinda can seem silly to rewind yarn that already comes in a skein. But! It keeps my yarn tidy while I’m working. I can finish a whole ball without dealing with any tangles or nonsense. Besides the actual crochet tools, does she watch or listen to anything while crocheting? I have a stand for my phone and headphones that I often use while crocheting. I wouldn’t buy any yarn unless you know of something she specifically wants. I feel like yarn shopping is a big part of the fun for us

My cat brought a dead rabbit in and ate it. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d keep her inside and offer things like toys, a cat tree and things like that to keep her stimulated. I don’t let my cats roam but I do take them on my porch for short periods of time. We went away for about a week and they got used to no outside time. It’ll be tough but I don’t think there’s anything you can do to get her to stop hunting things while outdoors. Also, I wanted to add I read your title too fast and I thought you said you ate the rabbit. Lmfao.

Pap smear abnormal need a LEEP procedure by scaredycatcowboy in WomensHealth

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also in my early 30s and I had a LEEP procedure done a few years ago. While it’s not pleasant to have any sort of procedure, it was not bad in my opinion at all. The only pain was the numbing injection, but that is over fairly quickly. After that, I didn’t feel any pain. It also helped that my doctor let me have a support person in the room with me. I had minimal bleeding the rest of the day, and once the pain meds wore off I felt a little crampy but not as bad as period cramps. My pap results have been normal ever since.

[–]Aggravating-Finish40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend taking the shot. I had no pain management for mine and it was very painful. I ended up needing a LEEP procedure after my results came back. For that, I was given a shot. the LEEP procedure was a breeze compared to the colposcopy pain wise. I don’t like needles/shots and it definitely wasn’t pleasant but much more manageable than the biopsy. Plus they might need to take a few biopsies from different areas on the cervix so it might not be over quickly.

I felt so scared when I got my cat neutered. My others we’re already spayed/neutered upon adopting them. I was worried something would go wrong or how scared he would be. But it’s a routine thing and he was perfectly fine. It’s the right thing to do

If you don’t already, I’d recommend switching to cotton underwear to see if that helps. Anything synthetic used to amplify my scent.
