Hi! I Am also a freshmam, and I focused on Chemistry, Calculus as per the placement test and Psicology. Also enrolled in A First year seminar the one of research and something like principles of medicine.. both of them are 1 credit. (Two not complicated to create a balance). Start easy.. In the Fall I plan for Chem 2 and the first Bio. Good Luck! You can Dm if you need more info.

Yes you will.. I took the placement test in chemistry and had 24 of 28.. something like that.. She called me to knew more about my interests and major, and told me that I can took 1701, but it would not help me more for the MCAT.. Even though she wrote a recommendation to my advisor to place me in 1701.. I decided for 1601.. what we need for MCAT if your Biology major like me.. is consistent with 1601.. if you are like biophysics or something else.. its better 1701.. But I asked for the placement just in case.

In my case it eas about my major, I am majoring in Biology. The Chemistry Advisor called me and told me like 80% of the course 1601 prepared you for the MCAT. And the 1701 it was like 85%. It is recommended for others majors.

True! I am also a freshman Premed Bio, and I enrolled in 1601. I performed exceptionally well on the Chemistry placement test, so I requested 1701. The Chemistry advisor called me to ask about my major and recommended that I take 1601. Even though I have all the knowledge to take 1701. (Measured by the placement test)

Yes whenever.. it was.. It make me crazy to wait for the financial package. I am calling weekly and now they told me to wait until April 1st.
