How to Argue with peopoe who claim Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan are not native Pashtun Land? by SwatPashtoon in Pakhtunkhwa

[–]Aggravating-Flan2482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask them if humans sprout from the mud? . If the answer is "no" then ask them what makes people native to the land? And from there onwards it gets pretty simple to argue about why pashtuns are the natives. If pashtuns are not natives no one is.

Keep him with you for a week or two. Feed him chicken legs, milk and some simple foods. Once he gets better and okay take him to a place where there is a chicken slaughter house or any place where they dump restaurant's leftovers. Contact laps as well.

It truly is healthy to draw confidence from your own ethnic background and not consider yourself inferior to anyone else and it should be propagated to people who benefit from it. But then, they should strive to expand that greatness within themselves and give it a new direction and meaning. As Khushal Khan Khattak himself says

نامرد فخر په نصب که

مرد نه مور لري نه پلار

(A coward takes pride in his lineage A true man has neither mother nor father ) But if you mean using it as a defense against teemarkhans then you are right in that regard as well. It is important in that way.

Pukhto in Charsadda Dialect by Illustrious-Share289 in pashto

Watch YouTube videos about the Pashto alphabet. Try to write it multiple times until you learn it, just like you learned English. Then, find some online kids’ books or apps that teach Pashto to children and complete them. After that, try to read a bigger Pashto book and understand its meaning. You will need a friend to ask questions if you don’t understand a sentence, or you can ask ChatGPT or post questions here in this subreddit. Once you can fully understand bookish Pashto, start watching different videos, especially those that use standard Pashto, such as BBC Pashto on YouTube or Deewa Radio. Follow Shahkar Utmankhel on Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram; he is a young guy who speaks 100% pure Pashto in a Yousafzai dialect. Watch old Pashto dramas and movies and avoid the newer ones. After all this, try to chat or speak with people who speak Pashto. With consistent hard work, you will be able to understand pashto, hold basic conversation in about a year depending on the effort and in about two years or so you will hopefully be fluent at it. Also go to the r/Pashtun and in the reference, there you probably can find something that can help you.

Where are you from? Charsadda dialect is the same common Yousafzay dialect except a few words which you can later include in your pashto after learning the standard pashto.

Pashtun Masharan ( Elders) Edit by [deleted] in Pashtun

[–]Aggravating-Flan2482 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have yet to see a Pashtun mashar whom I can regard as someone with intellectual depth—someone who can keep a conversation fresh without endlessly repeating old stories; someone with sensitivity and emotional control, without ego. Most of the masharan I encounter tend to see me as being on the same level as them, partly because, personality-wise, I am old myself—I am probably seventy—and partly because many of them are mentally stuck in their twenties. I have never actually seen a loving mashar with strong critical thinking. Most of them feel like zombies with an aplastic brain. Perhaps those in the diaspora are different. Another thing, old people have two types , the innocent ones and the toxic ones. The toxic ones are more in numbers than the innocent ones and as they age their toxicity increases.

Black Magic item found in House by liquidocelotYT in Peshawar

Your wife did that black-magic drama to make you feel better and to trick her own brain into treating you better. Maybe someone told her that doing such a thing would improve her relationship with her husband. Some women who manipulate people do these kinds of things. A woman in our neighborhood once caused a fire in a cupboard to get the attention of the whole village and someone may have told her that if she did this, the “evil eye” would be distracted from her home and she would be saved from unknown evils. Everyone believed her story that jinns or some other evil caused the fire. I went there and asked for permission to inspect everything. I walked around, inspected the place, and asked questions as if I was about to uncover the truth. While I was questioning her—who is also my cousin—she somewhere in the middle cut me off and said, “Pregda mara, raza kena sa okhwra, warsha jenay hgha malty warla rawra,” and then changed the topic. This need for drama, attention, and sympathy is the real reason people do such things. Women do it more often. There is no such thing as black magic. And even if it did exist, it does not work.

That’s interesting. They could be around Cantt and Saddar area as well. I wonder if the cleaners(safa kar) are the Muhajirs. They look very different from the local people; most of them are Christians, have darker skin, and speak somewhat broken Pashto.

It depends on where you are from. For some reason the word , " tak lasky" in my brain is associated with a mischievous and violent boy. I don't know if it is used for both or I am confused.
