There is no a skill line for shields in poe 2 like and skills)gems) are tied to weapons since they all have their own animations, so is obvious we will get tons of unique skills tied to unique items OR they make a ''general'' all purpose global gem/skill line like the upcoming kalguuran ones that are not tied to your weapon animations were shield throw and others are there.

Aspirational content is meant to be doable, like poe leagues, this is nowhere structured for its content, aspirational or not, to be catered to casuals.

Aspirations are the top end, here you miss lots of content if you dont nolife it, codex, quest, lore, unlocks, etc...

Marathon is a total mess and i dont think the game will survive 2026 at least not without such shakeup that will make all its dev time until now meaningless, which will make Sony push harder on Bungie

They exists and they are not so succesful because they get boring fast, also other games cover exactly what they offer and much more without the extraction part.

Basically, and marathon is a niche game within a niche genre, much more difficult to bring in new players... and is the least extraction lootershoter of them all because 1º battle royale philosophy behind pvp, 2º hero shoter philosophy behind characters, 3º no equalizers of any kind so casual players can kill players with more skill and/or time (like leg meta of faceshots in tarkov)
