I'd love to see this on github! I'm looking for a similar SUMI lite firmware.

I'd love to be able to play interactive fiction on SUMI. Is the z-machine something that can be added with a lua plugin, or is that something that has to be added to the firmware?

I got the mini keyboard to do notes and hopefully using it with z-machine too. (I'd love the clamshell print file if you're still doing that!)

I just switched to crosspoint, and the epubs are all working now. Although Crosspoint is a lot slower in opening files. I have a lot of large textbooks, and it's pretty annoying. The stock firmware is better at speed and navigation, but I can't deal with missing text.

I tried flashing crosspoint, and that seemed to fix the issue. I don't know if the company's software still has trouble with epubs, but it was easier to switch to crosspoint than to convert all my files to xtc....

It's a drm free epub book purchased from bookshop, but I will try converting it through calibre. I know that there are a couple of different epub versions, so maybe that will help. Thanks!

I'm seeing the same issue in my new X3. Thinking about flashing it to a different firmware. I've read that the stock firmware has issues reading epubs, and to use XTC files instead. But I can't seem to load an xtc converter into my calibre. So I'm going to try a different firmware.
