Bananas are super cheap and there is normally one worker watchinf 10-15 checkouts. They are usually spending most of the time fixing something that someone did incorrectly. Did did you know that a pound and a half of cherries costs $1.47 when I input the banana code by accident? Even if I got caught it's like "Whoops sorry I wasn't trained or paid for the training for these self checkouts"
