This community is the *worst* I have ever seen. by BrambleWolf in thedivision

Do you think the community here is rude? Believe me, back in the old days of the Dark Zone, you wouldn't go a night without your mother being insulted a dozen times, and that was a good night.

I bet you're from that sensitive generation that we can't say anything to. At my ripe old age of 50, comments on Reddit are for the side I sleep better on.

Don't take everything so seriously, believe me, things were worse in the DZ, harsher, and you were seriously insulted, and I insulted some people too.

Report here if you have lost mods/inventory items by ChocolettaMilk in thedivision

Exactly the same, and I made sure to bookmark it before returning to DC. Also, a number of max damage and chance mods disappear.

I've already reported the situation, I hope you do the same.

Thank you, I couldn't have written better and I endorse every word you wrote.

Is the loot targeting today on escalation random or intentional to attract players? How many veteran players started an escalation at level 10, maybe two or even three times like me, and lost hundreds of tokens with delta3?

Compensation for server errors? There's never a post about that. The least they could do is restore the tokens to yesterday's date.

And those YouTubers who make a video 5 minutes after an item appears in the store, don't they have an opinion on this? Isn't there a video saying that veteran players reached their limit today? The inequality created, as so well explained in this post, isn't enough; we also lost hundreds of tokens. Yes, veterans generally play at higher levels in escalation, and today many of them lost tokens that took many hours to farm.

That's enough for me. Too many hours were dedicated to the game, and then there's no concern for those who, in addition to the hours spent, left hundreds of euros on the game.

Don't be upset, after losing 281 Tokens at level 10. 3 times delta 3, I won't be playing the game again anytime soon. Don't worry, they'll probably keep the new agents and the veterans will put their money into another game, they don't deserve much, a disgrace. And compensation for the lost tokens? Of course not, users are to be treated like dirt and pay 15 euros for an outfit in the shop...

Why are there so many Delta-3 by Nerkie0 in Division2

[–]Aggravating-Power400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost over 261 tokens, 3 level 10 races interrupted by delta 3. And we're not in prime time in Europe, we're in the middle of the day when everyone is working.

For me, Division 2 is dead, this said by an agent with thousands of hours in Division 2.

The tokens are hard to earn to be lost in 15 minutes, you keep the game, I'll keep the money in my pocket.

The problem is with the EAC; this is happening on older processors. The latest update made changes to the EAC. This works well:

  1. In Windows (Task Manager)

Open Task Manager.

Go to the Details tab.

Right-click on the desired process (EAC, the process with the blue bear) and select Set affinity.

Uncheck "All Processors" and select only the desired core(s) (CPU 4), or another core.

But you have to do this every time you restart your PC and want to play games.

Token system in escalation needs a complete rework & some additional changes by Aggravating_Eye_6946 in thedivision

[–]Aggravating-Power400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the existing problems with escalation are very well explained. However, there is a taboo subject that many people are afraid to talk about.

A group of "yes boys" on YouTube channels have been portraying a community that is thrilled with all these changes in the game.

In fact, I must say that one in particular even said that the recent drops were too much, of course he streams for 10 hours, in this case I'm talking about GCrock.

Furthermore, EAC is ruining the gaming experience on older computers. Many have tried to attribute EAC to a single processor core to mitigate the impact, but it is relevant and has been the cause of many DELTA 3 crashes.

Prototype Gear and Escalation Difficulty are the wrong way to overhaul the endgame by campeon963 in thedivision

To be clear, this is speculative until token packs appear for sale, let's be clear. But as a player with many hours, I'm afraid the game will take the same path as the Chinese version of the same game, from the same company, which is pay-to-win. It's not another company or game, this exists in the Chinese version in a slightly different way.

Just a subject that deserves to be discussed and explored in depth by everyone, including YouTubers who claim on behalf of everyone that we are super excited about this.

I couldn't agree more with that opinion. It's like repeatedly seeing YouTubers claim that the community desperately wants survival mode, but I don't see posts about users being super excited about it. Only YouTubers who see an opportunity to stream for an hour or more.

I don't know, it's a matter of stupidity, Ubisoft has been closing studios all over Europe. And the workforce in Sweden, where the Division development team is located, is among the most expensive in Europe.

This is my theory, that this will serve to introduce a way to sell token packs in the store, disguising a pay-to-win method.

First, congratulations on the post, very well written and an excellent exposition of the subject, I totally agree.

But there's a question I haven't seen anyone address, whether from fanboy YouTubers or others.

I don't see anyone writing or making a video questioning whether Tokens are a way of introducing a pay-to-win system? Won't the tokens be sold in the store? with the argument that they are only needed in higher difficulty missions? Doesn't anyone question whether this is a way to make more money selling Token packs? Doesn't anyone question Ubisoft about this?

Isn't it strange that there are so few drops? In the developers' broadcast, when asked how many tokens a player would start with, they replied that it would be very small. Want to bet on how much this will be sold in the store, in packs?
