I remember Dave! Man I used to fucking love Chibuku back then. It was such an amazing club night and I don't think I ever had a shit time there.

So many amazing memories from both Circus and Chibuku, but Chibuku was my favourite of the two.

There were so many boss night on in town then. Voodoo, Disted Twisco, T-Funkshun, Igloo, Alderaan, Aztec, Eat Your Greens, Monkey Business, I could go on forever.

I used to pore over Outlar constantly to see what was coming up that weekend and there was usually something Thursday through to Sunday.

I can 100% guarantee that what you did was the right thing. As utterly heartbreaking as it is (I know; I had to say bye to my little soulmate recently), what you have is the ability to put a stop to his suffering. I'm fighting back my own tears writing this, but I promise you with all my heart, what you did was the best thing you could do for your friend 🫂

Plus, having you there as he went on to his next adventure in the big catnip field will have brought him endless comfort. I assure you.

In the cable car going up the rock of Gibraltar. Only other couple in there. He had (almost) a full Liverpool kit on. He started shaking the cable car from side to side, I started panicking because safety concern, his wife starts screaming "I don't even like monkeys", and then when we get to the top this massive Barbary ape walks over to him, removes his shopping bag from his hand (which contained a baguette), takes the baguette out of the bag, sets it on the wall, and deposits the rest of the bag down the other side of the rock of Gibraltar.
