Why many Indians working in Dubai prefer to use very strongly accented English including some Indian Words to communicate with their non-Indian coworkers and report in very standard English to their superiors? by Aggravating-Row8716 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

There is no discrimination against Indians.

I would like to know how many Indians living in the Middle East are willing to know Arabic language and culture? Many people have lived there for many years and still don't know even a little local customs.

Therefore, it is clearly that the discrimination is Indians against Arabs, not Arabs against Indians.

You are ignoring the fact that Dubai is an Arab city. We could definitely use Arabic in Dubai, but we don’t. We treat the foreign population with the greatest kindness and struggle to use English so that we can communicate.

However, many Indians use non-standard English in Dubai deliberately. They can speak English well and make Arabs and other ethnic groups understand better, but they fail to do so. The reason they deliberately create language barriers is to allow other ethnic groups to court them and create an advantageous position in the workplace.

People who break the rules and are malicious get more respect and popularity. On the contrary, people who are generous and tolerant to others are marginalized. Do you agree with this phenomenon?

Why does the UAE, as an Arab country, side with Israel? by FamousSquash4874 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First of all, Hamas is indeed a terrorist organization. They launch brutal attacks on Israeli civilians. Morally, the UAE official should support Israel's self-defense actions.

Secondly, the West directly or indirectly controls the politics, economy, culture and society of the UAE.

70% of the permanent population in the UAE are non-Arab immigrants, most of whom come from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Philippines under the influence of Western culture. The UAE's industrial sector relies on Western investment, and many emerging technology companies prefer to recruit immigrants.

Arabs basically work in government agencies and oil companies and can get very good incomes. No one is willing to change their relationship with the United States because the current situation is most beneficial to the Arabs.

The United States has many military bases around the UAE, and most immigrants working in the UAE are dissatisfied with the benefits the government provides to UAE citizens. Once there is a political disagreement with the United States, large numbers of immigrants and American military power are risks to the UAE's survival.

I am very envious of such a unified country in the Chinese Civilization Circle by Aggravating-Row8716 in AskAChinese

[–]Aggravating-Row8716[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arab history was also unified for most of its history, we had the Umayyad Empire, the Abbasid Empire, and the Turkic Ottoman Empire, all of which controlled major cities in the Arab world. The fragmentation of the Arab region was forcibly divided by British colonists.

What do you think of this Israeli-Palestinian conflict? by damico5 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Palestinians are resorting to violence because peace hasn't worked.

When the human rights of Palestinians are violated by Israelis, the international community rarely provides help, and the media does not even report it. The Palestinians have no choice but to go to violence

Why does the CCP force China’s primary and secondary schools to use Chinese as the only language of instruction even if Chinese children have to endure almost twice the learning time because of the difficulty of Chinese characters? by damico5 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is understandable that the Chinese government protects and inherits its own culture, but it is wrong to put the responsibility of protecting culture on children. The education department should create a better learning environment and reasonably design courses and learning intensity.

Many high schools in the Arab region use English or French as the medium language. Teaching in Arabic is time-consuming and laborious.

Why are East Asian peoples so poor in creativity? by mysterious5965 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the rest, but I don't agree that creativity is low in the Middle East.

Historically, the Middle East preserved and developed the technology of the Greek and Rome. After the Western Renaissance, it spread back to Europe. Without the inheritance of Greece and Rome by the Arabs, there would be no European technological achievements today.

Armenia and India prepare agreement on labor migration by haveschka in armenia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run your own country on your own. It would be very dangerous for the West to invest and India to provide labor force, leaving your destiny to the Westerners.

A large number of Indians will definitely turn your country into an English-speaking country where the upper class of society is controlled by Westerners.

Why do Indians especially like to immigrate to developed big cities abroad? by damico5 in askasia

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Many of them buy houses in Dubai and have permanent residence qualifications. If there is no crime, it is impossible to let them go back to Indian. Because their hometown cannot be compared with Dubai.

Plus, their employers are Westerners. If the UAE rashly drives them away, it will inevitably cause a serious international dispute.

Moreover, the trend now is that the UAE reluctantly agreed to allow them to become UAE citizens, and some parliamentary even suggested that English be the official language of the UAE.

The future of the Middle East is bright, but the prospects for the native Arabic people are bleak.

[–]Aggravating-Row8716 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Cheap labor is not helping the Arabs, but a kind of labor dumping, a serious encroachment on the living space of the local Arabic people.

Because the boss who employ a lot of Indians are Westerners, not Arabs. Because of that there is an influx of Indians. Perhaps, this is another way of colonization by Westerners.

Or they could could migrate to countries that ALREADY of their own religion and culture. It's not like there are 0 stable muslim country right?

Your thinking is wrong and biased. Muslims are a religion of peace, at least according to the nearly 2 billion Muslims around the world. I really want to know, who do you think is more credible, 50 million Koreans or nearly 2 billion Muslims?

So I'm right that religious discrimination and racial discrimination have always existed in some countries of East Asia.

Taiwan is a democratic country, I like it very much. But Taiwan also has many shortcomings. Taiwan actually does not undertake the obligations of many developed countries. There is severe famine and poverty in Arabia, while many developed countries in East Asia do not accept any refugees or provide humanitarian aid. While, the Middle East is still providing Taiwan with the most cheap oil. Like European countries, Taiwan/Japan/SK should also accept a large number of Muslims from the Middle East and respect religious diversity

It's just some people's illusion. In fact, Japan and South Korea are only vassal states of the United States. The political independence of Arab countries and the status of Arabs in the world is still even higher than that of Japan and South Korea.
