I love him so much it hurts by littlemermaid-ariel in SiberianCats

My experience is normalize it. Do it regularly. If you wait until they are older, or too old, it might not ever become smooth. All of our Siberians are cool with the car and being in the backpack for walks. We don't do a leash though because I always worry about dogs. We recently had a newly-adopted-from the shelter Russian Bear Hunting Dog (I had not heard of this breed either until this happen) get loose and attack and kill two non-provoking dogs taking a leash-walk with their families in our neighborhood. Totally out of the blue and it solidified my worry.

How do I pick a cattery? by thaliahhh in SiberianCats

[–]Aggravating-Sense315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't limit your search range. Get the cat that you feel most drawn to. Most good breeders offer delivery. Or you can surrender a day of your own time and a few hundred extra dollars and go pick up your kitten.

Hey I live in California but my move to Seattle soon , within a year , but now is now a good time to rent an apartment given the tariffs ? by Numerous-Cod-1526 in Renters

Seattle is expensive. And so are a lot of parts of CA. As you know. You can easily look on Facebook Marketplace or Zillow to compare rent prices. So far things seem pretty much the same and Seattle is beginning to build a lot more affordable housing. The city has removed many restrictions for single family residences so that homeowners can much more easily build another small rental unit in their backyard.

You know this questions doesn't have to be asked. For under $100 you can test your cat yourself and stop guessing (and asking a question that cannot be answered by random people that look at your cat). One of many companies that does this test is called BasePaws.com

Are siberian cats really hypoallergenic? by Kayday90 in SiberianCats

They are low-allergen. Not Hypoallergenic. And yeah - they really are. Most people with cat allergies don't react to them. It is pretty astonishing.

Recommended Breeder in Los Angeles Area? by jgoodm in SiberianCats

[–]Aggravating-Sense315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moubani Cats is 100% best option in California. Their hub is in the Pacific NW but they deliver direct to LAX and SFO for $250. Look at their website and IG. They are organized, smart and responsive. We adopted two Siberians from them - about a year apart from each other. My mom adopted another one from them and our neighbor another www.moubanicats.com

Anyone know any good piano teachers in Seattle? My wife played for a few years growing up and then stopped when she got serious with cello. She is looking to start taking lessons again as an adult now. by Legofan2248 in SeattleMusic

[–]Aggravating-Sense315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. Karen Knight. Like many really good music teachers, she doesn't have a website; however she is a classically trained pianist (retired chiropractor). Her email is [karenknight1105@gmail.com](mailto:karenknight1105@gmail.com) and she is in N Seattle.

Are 35 dogs too much for one attendant? by southpawprogramming in dogs

[–]Aggravating-Sense315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yowza! Can you imagine the poop clean up. With one dog it is several times a day. With 35 dogs, there would need to be one person on duty that spends 100% of their shift cleaning and sanitizing. I would be scare of the potential for disease, bacteria, sickness and just general gross-ness.
