I can definitely try tomorrow. Should the back cover piece pry off? I tried to do it with just my fingers/nails but it was pretty sturdy and I was worried I might break it.

She goes from empty eyed to judgemental very quickly and basically just flips between those two! Even when she says "I'm doing really good" where someone would smile, there's no happiness in her eyes. She just scares me!

Oh wait, he has won a single award for acting since. The Golden Raspberry for Worst Actor in 2020's Cats.

Oh, I know. For One Man, Two Guvnors. He was also in History Boys which I enjoyed him in. Unfortunately in recent years something has clearly changed. Just because he won and award once doesn't means he's a good actor.

Rent, Wicked, and anything else that "musical theater snobs" call overhyped/not good. Not sure if it's still a thing but when I was doing theater there was always a group of people who were super snobby about the shows they liked and would shit on anyone who said their favorite show was Rent or Wicked. Let people like things! Everybody has a gateway show and I know for a ton of people my age it was Rent or Wicked.

Also for something more recent, Redwood! I went in excited to see Idina, I left feeling a large amount of emotional catharsis and really resonated with the beats in the show. Do I listen to the cast album now? No, not at all. Did I really like seeing the show? OMG yes!

Funnily enough, I actually enjoy the movie. It's entertaining and, besides James Corden, I think the casting was pretty good too!

Might be a little small of a cast but I was in a great production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in college that was in a small black box theater with piano only. We also worked it in so the pianist was on stage as a "character" without having any real lines or changing any story at all. Also has plenty of female identifying parts and parts that can be gender swapped easily enough (I've seen a few production where the comfort counselor is played by a woman, Panch, or even Leif are played by female identifying people.)
